Video Clip: Servicemen Duct Tape Female GI to Pole During "Hazing"
It's the video clip that's causing some raised eyebrows at the Pentagon, according to the Drudge Report:
A provocative video hits the internet this week showing male soldiers in Iraq aggressively duct-taping a female soldier to a pole!
Titled, "When your the only girl in the maintenance section," the 4 minute long video shows a laughing female getting wrapped up with heavy tape.
"This is what happens in Iraq when there are no Hummers to fix and your the only chick in the section...AND the only Yankee in a Louisiana unit!" claims poster 'wickedharleyluva' on YOUTUBE.COM.
"OK, I can't breathe," says the laughing female as the video comes to its conclusion. "Don't leave me here."
It appears obvious the soldiers are not harming the woman. But it's quite curious why the clip is being posted on the web.
A top Pentagon source expressed concern over the video late Sunday.
"Excuse me, I am not laughing," said the official, who asked not to be identified.
Yeah, we've seen worse stuff, but people who are already against the war in Iraq are not going to like the way this video plays.

I dont see what's so controversial about friends pulling pranks on each other. She's having fun...what's the big deal?
Also all of these videos are fine but where are my dumbasses? I liked it better when there were just stories about dumb people, who I can laugh at, and not these videos.
She's laughing to "go along" and not be ostracized. You see, women in a place where they're subjected to constant "go along with the guys" stuff use the buddy route to try to stay away from being either "the bitch" or the victim. that one guy was continuing to tickle her is significant. Tickling a person who is sensitive to it (adult or little kid) is a mild torture, and a HUGE control issue. And that's what that was, a display of dominance and control.
Want a story about dumbasses? seems that the Pentagon has chosen to start taking seriously the problems of women in Iraq. Oh, not the rape reports so much, but the womenn dying of dehydration becouse they don't drink anything after 2PM so they don't have to go relieve themselves after dark--so they don't get raped. Dumbasses. The men that do this, that allow it, and that cover it up. There ya go.
