UPDATE: Katie Rees, Miss Nevada 2007 Stripped of Title After Losing Shirt in Photos . . . and Kissing Other Young Women Probably Didn't Help

According to the AP, another beauty pageant contestant bites the dust:

"Katie Rees has been relieved of her duties as Miss Nevada USA 2007," said Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, which owns the Miss USA pageant and others.

Rees' dismissal comes two days after Miss USA Tara Conner was allowed to keep her tiara when she admitted underage drinking at New York bars and agreed to go into rehab and undergo drug testing.

Pageant officials declined to provide a telephone number for Rees and said they didn't know when the photos of her were taken.

Rees' attorney, Mario Torres, of Tampa, defended the blonde beauty queen in a statement sent to the entertainment television show Extra.

"Katie Rees Miss Nevada USA wants the public to know she was 17 and had a lapse in judgment," he said. "The actions on that evening in subject are in no way indicative of the person she is or the person she has become. ... She is a law-abiding citizen and talented adult. This was an isolated incident that occurred more than five years ago when she was a minor."

Just yesterday, the website Canada.com posted photos of Ms. Rees kissing other young women, exposing one of her breasts and pulling down her pants to show her thong underwear at a party in Tampa almost 5 years ago. (ries, reese)

Another Female Teacher Arrested With Underage Boy

Doesn't it seem like we are seeing a lot more of these kinds of stories lately? The cop didn't believe either of them and that started an investigation which soon revealed that--allegedly--the pair has been having an affair for four or five months. So, now Mrs. Cook has been suspended from the school and still sits in jail. At right, the only mug shot we could find of her. Problems for Miss USA Mount: Alleged Drug Use (Cocaine), Late Night Romps with Men and . . . Lesbian Kisses With Miss Teen USA?

The celebrity gossip site TMZ seems to have the lowdown on the problems facing outgoing Miss USA Tara Conner who is expected to be officially replaced on Tuesday by Tamiko Nash, Miss California.

The damning evidence continues to mount against Conner, whose tumultuous reign began in April. Yesterday, the New York Daily News reported that Conner had failed a drug test for cocaine. Sources confirm to TMZ that after she was "caught red-handed," she took a hair follicle drug test that returned positive for coke.

What's more, we're told that pageant officials knew they had a problem with Conner and her wild ways "the minute she was crowned," and have been deeply troubled by her friendship with 18-year-old Miss Teen USA Katie Blair. The pair have been spotted kissing (yes -- each other) in bars, and returning together to her posh Trump Place apartment -- which Conner has since vacated -- late at night with a variety of men. To be clear, a rep for the pageant says that the allegations about Miss Teen USA are totally unfounded.

You may also wonder why this hasn't be handled more quietly. Seems that some sources claim Donald Trump knew of Conner's problems several months ago and could have handled things then but he likes all the media attention this is giving to the pageant that he now owns. Miss Teen USA Could Lose Job as Spokesperson for MADD After Doing Shots With Miss USA

Mother and Son Arrested for Pretending He's Been Retarded for 20 Years

For more than 20 years, Rosie Marie Costello collected disability benefits on behalf of her son Pete, who was mentally retarded. Actor Rip Torn Arrested AGAIN for Drunk Driving

If this story sounds like a repeat, well, that's because it is! Two years ago, veteran actor Rip Torn was arrested for drunk driving in New York after allegedly ramming his car into a taxi. This time, Torn hit another car in the suburb of North Salem and was immediately given a field sobriety test and arrested for driving while intoxicated. At left, the great mug shot from this arrest. Parents of the Year? Drunk 2-Month-Old Dropped Off at Hospital

Okay, we have to admit we have heard stories in the past of toddlers who happen to grab a glass of a parent's adult beverage and take a drink. Or two. But a BAC of .364%? Even Ted Kennedy thinks that's a little excessive. But in Colorado Springs, CO the infant and her mother were dropped off at a local hospital early Sunday morning by the mother's boyfriend . . . who then took off. Other details are not available, but Colorado Springs cops are now searching for him.
Said Colorado Springs police Sgt. Steve Ward, "There have been some accidental ingestions, but with a 2-month-old, they don't get around very well. It's hard to believe that it would be an accidental ingestion by the baby itself. I would have to think the alcohol was somehow made available to the baby."
Most interesting is the observation that most people (adults and children) are usually comatose with a BAC over .300, which means that the kid likely has built up a tolerance for alcohol over the past two months. We can't wait to hear the boyfriend's version of the story. (The Denver Channel)

Teen Arrested for Ordering Fast Food Naked

We've been to Columbia City, Indiana before. It's not far from where we grew up in Fort Wayne. Needless to say, there's not much going on in a small town like Columbia City, so teenagers sometimes have to amuse themselves. That would appear to include eighteen-year-old David Gatton who, along with a male companion, decided to hit several of the fast food drive-thrus in CC. To make things interesting, Mr. Gatton decided to take off all his clothes, causing quite an uproar inside the local McDonalds, where I'm sure he ordered something like a Big Mac. Unfortunately, for Mr. Gatton and pal they people there didn't think it was that funny, called the cops and gave a description of the car, which cops quickly found nearby while the teen was putting his clothes back on. He's been charged with a misdemeanor and receives our Dumbass Salute for this Monday! (WTHR)
