Florida Girl, 11, Arrested for DUI After High Speed Chase - Video Clip, Orange Beach, Alabama
Part of our new pre-teen crime wave: an 11-year-old Florida girl was arrested by police Tuesday night after leading police on a high speed chase that was caught on police dash-cam. (See video below.) According to cops, the chase began when an officer spotted the car speeding along Alabama 182, and when he turned on his lights to pull her over, the sped up instead. The high speed chase reached 100 mph at one point and the pre-teen's car sideswiped another vehicle along the way, before she lost control, crashed and rolled the 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo. Officers pulled their weapons on the overturned vehicle, only to find inside a drunk 11-year-old girl who claims "on her way to pick up her sister at a concert in Orange Beach." The unidentified youth, who's BAC is also not being reported, now faces a DUI charge, speeding, leaving the scene of an accident and reckless endangerment. And, maybe child endangerment as well? Huh?
