Teacher Accused of Sex With Boy, 14 - Crystal Marie Bashford, Palm Christian Academy

Today's "teacher having sex with an underage student" comes to us from North Port, Florida. Here's more from the Herald Tribune:

A teacher at a Christian elementary school was arrested Monday for having sex with a 14-year-old boy.
Crystal Marie Bashford, 21, of North Port was arrested and charged with one count of lewd or lascivious battery, according to arrest records.
Detective Mary Thoroman said the victim had no relation to the Palm Christian Academy in Port Charlotte where Bashford teaches. Thoroman said the boy and Bashford were "friends" and that they had sex one time.
The boy confided in an employee at the George Mullen Center in North Port, who in turn contacted the Department of Children and Families, which then contacted North Port Police, said Thoroman.
