Teacher Charged for Sex With 8th Grader - Elizabeth Munn, Broadalbin-Perth School District

Not much new to report for this teacher sex scandal, except of the super sad mug shot at right of Elizabeth Munn, 32, who used to teach social studies to eighth graders at the Broadalbin-Perth School District. Now, Munn is accused of taking one boy, 15, to his own private summer school. Here's more from Capital News 9:

Fulton County District Attorney Louise Sira said, "The allegations are that Elizabeth Munn had a sexual relationship with one of her former eighth grade students during the summer months."
Police said they received a complaint earlier this week and brought Munn in for questioning Tuesday evening. The social studies teacher was arrested around 9:30 p.m.
Sira said Munn admitted to being involved with the 15-year-old student but wouldn't give any details.
"What is offensive is that we have a teacher who is in a trusted position who crosses the line, fails to maintain the professionalism of the job they're entrusted to do and crosses the line with children, engages in criminal activity," she said.
