Female Teacher, 33, Arrested for Sex With Boy, 15 After Exchanging 3000 Text Messages With Him - Crystal Wells

3000 text messages? That's a lot of typing with your thumbs for what resulted in sex only six times--allegedly--between teacher Crystal Wells and an underage male student.
According to officials at Deming High School in Robertson County, KY they first suspended Wells after they found out that between January and April of 2007, she had exchanged more than three thousand text messages with the boy DURING SCHOOL HOURS . . . and that made them suspect that something inappropriate was going on. Ya think? The school was reportedly tipped off by the boy's family who found some of the messages and contacted them about the relationship.
According to police, the suspension didn't stop her from allegedly "hooking up" with the boy at least six times, including four incidents in August and two after she was suspended from her job!! Fortunately for the school district, the alleged encounters did not take place on school grounds or property, but rather, "... liaisons were conducted in Wells' vehicle or in privately owned locations." Classy!
