Drunk Exterminator Rams Head Through Police Cruiser Window

You've seen belligerent drunks on COPs, right? Well, not like Kevin Beamon of Upstate New York who was initially found passed out in the front seat his Orkin exterminator truck with the motor running in the middle of the road. When cops finally managed to wake him up (his BAC was .35%) and take him to a hospital because of his acute intoxication, he kicked out a window in the police cruiser. At the hospital the 6-foot-2, 210-pound Beamon became loud and abusive and ended up fighting with officers, biting one, injuring one officers knee and anothers' shoulder. But he wasn't done yet.
In handcuffs and shackles, Beamon managed to bust out a window in the police car with HIS HEAD while in the back seat while they were transporting him back to jail. According to one of the officers involved, "Half his body was hanging out of the (moving) car." Cops then had to take Beamon, now suffering head injuries, back to the hospital. Bobby Brown Arrested at Cheerleading Camp, Can't Make Bail

Wasn't being married to Whitney Houston enough of a punishment? Now former pop idol Bobby Brown sits in jail for failing to pay more than $19,000 in child support payments. And apparently, he doesn't have the money to even post bail. Damn! Here's more on the story from TMZ:

TMZ has learned that Bobby Brown is still sitting behind bars at Norfolk County House of Corrections in Massachusetts because, "He can't afford to pay his debt."
In an exclusive conversation with Brown's attorney, Phaedra Parks, TMZ was told that the former New Edition member is scrambling to figure out a way to come up with the $19,100 he owes in back child support payments to Kim Ward, the mother of two of his children.
"Mr. Brown is not financially able to make the payment to court," said Parks, adding that she is currently making her "best effort" to work out some sort of deal with the court.
When asked about the fortune he amassed during his days as a world famous musician, Parks replied, "He was an 80s icon, that was 20 years ago."

American Idol's Antonella Barba in Trouble for Naughty Internet Pictures

It seems to happen every season on the hit FOX reality show: some promising contestant has a skelaton on the closet, be it an arrest or some compromising photos on the Internet. The first ones we saw of Antonella Barba were pretty tame: her on the toilet and with friends covering their breasts at a topless beach. But later pictures, have been, well, not as friendly to her. Fame is fleeting for some. The internet gives it a whole new perspective too. If you have been so attention starved in your life as to actually photograph yourself in flagrante delicto or on the crapper as American Idol's contestant Antonella Barba did, you better steel yourself for the consequences.
The American Idol contestant and New Jersey gal has been under understandable fire lately due to some pornographic photos that have been published recently on the Internet, including one of her on the toilet, and one that shows the singer allegedly giving some guy deep throat oral "favors."
Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe says he has not seen any of the Internet pictures, and only learned of the naughty snaps from EW. ''We have really good background checks on everybody, and we deal with that every season,'' he says. ''It's sad, isn't it, that your best friends are the ones that come forward with information that will go to Smoking Gun or put your photographs on the web?''

Drunk Man Lets Drunk 14-Year-Old Son Drive

The Father of the Year nominations are piling up! This genius comes to us from Virginia, courtesy of NewsNet5:

James Vernon Holbert Jr. faces up to five years in prison when he is sentenced in May. Hanover County prosecutors said Holbert told police he'd been drinking too much, so he allowed his son to drive -- even though the 14-year-old had also been drinking alcohol that Holbert provided. The car veered off a road in Ashland last June and struck a tree, ejecting the boy. He was treated at the scene.

Middle School Principal Buys Crack From Undercover Agent, Plans to Smoke It in His Office

Double dumbass on this guy! First, for buying crack when everyone knows the cool drunk anymore is meth . . . and then for buying it from an undercover cop at work, especially. According to police, Van Buren Middle School Principal Anthony Giancola bought $20 worth of crack cocaine from an undercover officer in his office where he planned to smoke it. McElroy said Giancola made contact with an undercover officer a few days ago about buying $200 worth last night, but called and said he had a prior appointment and couldn’t make it. Giancola asked the undercover officer to come by the school with $20 worth of the drug.
The officer went to the principal’s office around 3 p.m. and sold Giancola the drug, McElroy said. The principal said he wanted to smoke it right there, but the officer demurred and said he didn’t feel comfortable and would leave. The principal walked the officer out to the school lobby where several other undercover officers were posing as parents, McElroy said.

Report: Britney Spears Shaved Head to Avoid Court Drug Test

First, they said it was head lice that caused pop princess Britney Spears to shave her head last weekend. For some reason, that didn't make sense. Now comes word from the Extra TV show that does make a little more sense. Apparently last Friday, Ms. Spears and ex-husband Kevin "K-Fed" Federline had a huge fight and he told Britney that he would get a court order to have her hair tested to find out what kind of drugs she might have been taking recently. This, apparently, as part of their running dispute over custody of their two sons. (Extra TV - link includes video clip)

12-Year-Old Drives for Drunk Grandmother, Watches as She Breaks Windows

A Nebraska woman has been charged with getting drunk and making her 12-year-old granddaughter drive her to a relative's house, where she broke windows.
Vickie Britton of Lincoln faces charges of vandalism and child neglect, the Lincoln Journal Star reported. Her granddaughter could be ticketed for driving without a license. Police say they received a call reporting the broken windows. The woman made another call when Britton and her granddaughter allegedly returned to the scene.
Britton's Chevrolet Cavalier was found nearby with the 12-year-old behind the wheel.

Parents Catch Underage Daughter at Home With Naked Boys

It sounds like something out of a bad movie: a mother and father arrive home early only to find the front door of their suburban Detroit home locked. When they look in the window they find two male teens (both over 18) in their underwear in the front room with their 14-year-old daughter, 14, and another underage girl. While stepdad bursts in through the front door, the boys take off around back, but mom heads them off and catches them outside on the deck of the home still in their boxers . . . and without their shoes. She orders them back in the house where the cops are called and the two perps are released pending further investigation. While it doesn't appear that they couples got around to having sex, they older boys may have provided the girls with some beer. Oops. (Daily Tribune)

Britney's Baldness Becomes Boon for eBay Bidders

By now, whether you like it or not, most of the free world has heard that former pop star Britney Spears shaved her hair off over the weekend, then got some new tattoos, then put on an ugly blonde wig and appeared in public anyway. What most of you may not know is that all of this has resulted in a rush of activity on the auction site eBay. This story from Australian newspaper The Age:

Today a bevy of creative spin-offs was available, though few were attracting hefty bids.
One reliable eBay seller had some Brit Knee Hair for sale on the site for an opening sum of $US1.93. And just in case prospective clients weren't sure about the authenticity, a photo of the said goods had been supplied.
There was the expected array of Bald Britney T-shirts, but for those on the hunt for something a little more special an abstract painting of Britney's hair "separated from her head" was on offer for $US25.
For nostalgic types, a year-2000 Britney 'Hit me one more time doll' had been dusted off with the seller pointing out the doll came with (now) "hard to find hair".
There was even a handmade bag for sale, otherwise known as 'something to keep Britney's hair in'.
But best of all for Britney purists was an actual CD of her songs. The album In the Zone, with bonus lock of hair, was available for the bargain price of $US12,999.

Naked Man Battles Firefighters While Ammunition Goes Off in House

Firefighters were called to the home of 57-year-old Darrell Moss last week and found the house engulfed in flames. And, the situation was even more dangerous than usual because live ammunition that Moss had stored in the house was going off inside because of the heat. To make matters worse, when firemen arrived they found Moss naked with red marker all over himself (including one cute drawing of a heart with an arrow) and he began to fight with them and local police. According to cops, Moss continued to battle with them and hospital staff even after he was strapped to a backboard. Not surprisingly, Moss was recently treated for mental problems. (Short News)

Wisconsin School Cuts Curriculum by $1.2 Million, Asks for $450,000 for New Football Turf

Larry Laux, a member of the field project committee and parent of a football player at Kettle Moraine High School in Wisconsin, said it best: "It is a little bit awkward, I'll grant you that." A little awkward? Here's the rest of the story from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal:

Just days before the Kettle Moraine School District's superintendent embarked this month on discussions preparing residents for $1.2 million in program cutbacks, a letter went out to some of those same residents.
Signed by a group called the Kettle Moraine Field Project Committee, the letter sought $460,000 in funding the installation of artificial turf for the football field.
If successful, Kettle Moraine High School would be the latest school in the state to perform a pricey upgrade to its athletic facilities at a time when many school districts complain they have to reduce services or are holding referendums to raise tax dollars to keep existing programs.

Drunk Dad Lets 11-Year-Old Drive Him Home

This will get your attention if you're a police officer dropping your kids off at school: the site of an 11-year-old boy at the wheel of a car, dad passed out drunk in the passenger seat and two young siblings in the back seat. That's what happened to an off-duty police officer in South Carolina and the result was Joddy Deam Morris being arrested and charged with allowing his pre-teen son to drive the family car while he was drunk in the passenger seat. Man Arrested After Calling 911 Repeatedly Over a . . . Toothache?

Now here's your classic dumbass: not only stupid, but he causes problems for other people AND gets arrested. Here's the story from ABC4:

Thirty-four-year-old Brook Akins called 911 dispatchers 12 times in the span of five hours with most of those calls lasting around 30 minutes each. He said his tooth hurt and he was tired of the pain. He refused an ambulance, didn't want a visit from police, but wanted phone numbers for someone who could help ease the pain . . .

. . . Akins' needs were not clear to dispatchers so they sent police to his apartment for a welfare check. He was also warned he could be charged with 911 Abuse. But that didn't stop the calls. Akins continually asked for help but dispatchers were unable to find out what he needed.

. . . Akins finally pulled out all the stops and said he would tell CNN's Nancy Grace and "the record would become clear" when it would be broadcast on TV.
