There's slipping up and then there's slipping up. A student teacher at Portland's Lincoln High School REALLY slipped up when the students in his class got a glimpse of a naked picture, rather than the start of a movie. More from Oregon Live:

A student teacher at Portland's Lincoln High School accidentally showed his American History class a nude photo on his laptop. Now the Portland State University student can't teach in Portland Public Schools.

The incident happened March 13, when the student teacher gathered the class around his laptop to show a clip of "Saving Private Ryan" for a World War II discussion. Instead, he clicked on a file that brought up a nude photo. It was on the screen for a few seconds before he could close it.

When the supervising teacher came back, no one mentioned the incident. But word got back to the school after a student casually told her doctor about it that afternoon. Parents were notified. Neither PSU nor the Portland school district would identify the student teacher.

Catholic School Charged With Statutory Rape: Richard Ali, Cathedral High School

Well, at least time, the teacher involved in the New York City sex scandal is a man (at a Catholic girls school!), although this guy's accused of getting it on with two underages gals, one he allegedly pawed at the movie theater. Here's more from Newsday:

Richard Ali, 27, of 91-48 115th St., Richmond Hill, who was arrested Wednesday, was arraigned yesterday in Queens Criminal Court on three counts of third-degree rape, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of third-degree sexual abuse.
District Attorney Richard A. Brown said Ali is accused of having sexual intercourse with a female student who was younger than 17 in January in a parked vehicle near Long Island City High School. He is also accused of having sexually explicit telephone conversations with another female student younger than 17, and of having inappropriate physical contact with her in February at a movie theatre.

NY Montessori School Teacher Sex Scandal - Lina Sinha, Montessori International School

It's happened again in New York: another female accused of sex with an underage boy. This time, it was a Montessori teacher named Lina Sinha. More from MyFoxNY:

A teacher at an exclusive Manhattan Montessori school, accused of having sex with two young students, has been convicted of sodomizing one of them when he was 13 years old.

Lina Sinha was also convicted of sodomizing the student when he was older, and of trying to bribe a second student to to lie about their sexual relationship.

Sinha was a teacher for 16 years at the Montessori International School of New York, which was established by her parents in 1969.

Sinha showed no emotion as the jury reported a partial decision of eleven guilty and two not guilty verdicts. The jurors was deadlocked on the six rape counts against her.

"Girls Gone Wild" Founder Plans Topless Restaurant

Wow, what a novel idea! The guy behind the videos of college girls exposing their breasts to the public is planning a restaurant where young women expose their breasts to to the eating public. Joe Francis, the guy behind the sexy "Girls Gone Wild" videos is developing a chaing under the same brand name. More from China Daily:

A restaurant chain under the "Girls Gone Wild" brand name is being planned by Joe Francis, whose Mantra Films Inc.'s has built a $100 million business videotaping and selling the DVDs featuring young women exposing their breasts.

"This is going to be about fun, lifestyle, youth, sun. It's about everything 'Girls Gone Wild,"' Francis said. "It's going to be sexy without being sexual."

There will be no stripping, topless waitresses or filming in the restaurants, Francis said.

The first two restaurants are expected to open by mid-summer in Mexican beach towns Cabo San Lucas and Cancun. Francis sees franchises popping up mainly in college towns in the United States and around the world.

He said "Girls Gone Wild" restaurants will appeal to women who want to feel sexy, exiting and edgy.

Guys will turn out because "guys are always there, panting," he joked

Naked Pics of Missouri Gov's Press Secretary Surface - Jessica Robinson

Jessica Robinson, the press secretary to Missouri Governor Matt Blunt, thought she had gotten rid of all of the naked pictures of her that surfaced online back in 2004. She claims they were innocent family photos taken while she was pregnant to show the process of the change. Then, someone hacked the family computer, found the shots and well, the rest is Internet history. here's more from St. Louis Today:

In late 2004, Jessica Robinson — now Gov. Matt Blunt's press secretary — learned that private photos of her nude body were traveling on the very public Internet.
She took steps, with the help of the State Highway Patrol, to remove the images. But like weeds, the pictures recently came back — circulating again on the Web and now around the state Capitol.
Robinson finds herself reliving a nightmare.
"It's devastating,'' Robinson said this week, as she reluctantly recounted what could serve as a cautionary tale for anyone who chooses to electronically store deeply personal parts of their lives.
She says the pictures had been taken by her husband, Jay Robinson, in late 2003 and early 2004 to document the various stages of her pregnancy that resulted in the May 2004 birth of their son. The photos were put on the hard drive of the couple's computer.
By October 2004, the early-pregnancy pictures —which show a smiling, still-slim Jessica Robinson standing in front of a wall — somehow ended up on several pornographic websites. Authorities say the couple's computer had been hacked.
The sites even included some personal information about Robinson, such as the fact that she then worked for the state Department of Revenue. Robinson says she first learned of the photos' cyber-display when sexual predators began calling her at the office.
The department's director at the time, Carol Fischer, found out from an anonymous call.
The Missouri Highway Patrol spent several months investigating the case. But authorities weren't able to determine the culprit, who also snared some of the couple's electronic financial records. The patrol's final report does document some success in helping the Robinsons get the photos taken off the sites known to display them at the time.
A few weeks ago, the photos were discovered on another salacious site. And copies have begun to show up around the Capitol.

A WOMAN'S crime in having sex once with a 15-year-old boy was different from the six-week affair Melbourne school teacher Karen Ellis had with a boy of similar age, a court heard.

Diana Nicole Bennett's lawyer said that unlike Ellis, the boy with whom she had intercourse was not under her care, supervision or authority.

The County Court heard yesterday that in January 2005, Bennett, a voluntary worker, then 28, had sex with the boy who had telephoned her at home one morning and invited her to his house. Judge Lance Pilgrim was told they had been friends for about six months and that the boy had earlier promised to give her a kiss for Christmas.

After the Department of Human Resources notified police from a sexual offences and child abuse unit in February, 2005, the boy declined to make a statement, as did his parents.

Prosecutor Bill Dwyer said in his summary that Bennett later admitted she had a problem with binge drinking and on that morning she was drunk from the night before. Mr Dwyer said Bennett, who usually drank three bottles of vodka neat a week, told police she only took up the boy's invitation because she was drunk.

The pair began fondling each other and undressed before having sex, which was interrupted when a friend of the boy — who later approached police — entered the room. Bennett said in a record of interview with police that she saw herself as being like an older sister to the boy and was "flattered someone of his age found her sexually attractive".

Twin Sisters Arrested for Topless Photos Taken in Front of 5-Year-Old (Pam and Penny Crane)

Pam and Penny Crane, 29, are accused of snapping topless pictures in front of the child, a relative of the sisters.
The women were wearing thong underwear and hosiery, while the 5-year-old appeared in some of the photos and may have snapped one of the two sisters topless, Lt. Jeff Johnston said.
"Why they would take those pictures, I have no idea," said Sheboygan County district attorney Joe DeCecco, who called the case creepy. "But then to go one step further and to be exposing their breasts to the child and buttocks to the child."
A drug store turned the photos into police after developing the film from a disposable camera.
Pam Crane admits she took a photo to send to her boyfriend, but denied that she and her sister were topless.
"I took one sexy picture to send my boyfriend, he's in Vegas," Crane said. "None of us were topless."

Ex-cop, 16 Pals Charged in $30 Million Gambling Ring Run Out of Strip Club: NY Post

Well, I suppose if you're going to run a multi-million dollar gambling ring, you might as well do it from a strip joint, right? That's the big story out of New York, where an former cop and several of his friends were allegedly running an offshore internet-based service, handled bets on football, baseball, basketball, hockey, horse racing, NASCAR and pro golf. A $30 million-a-year internet gambling ring, run out of a Queens strip club and headed by a former city police officer, was busted with the arrest of 17 suspects following a 14-month investigation, the Queens district attorney said Wednesday.

The gambling operation, which funneled its bets through an offshore internet-based service, handled bets on football, baseball, basketball, hockey, horse racing, NASCAR and pro golf, according to an indictment.

The ring's kingpin was identified as John "JK" Kinahan, 56, of Dix Hills, an ex-NYPD officer currently working as a manager at the topless dance club City Scapes, authorities said. A former NYPD detective from the organized crime division, 59-year-old Phillip Buckles of Miller Place, also was arrested.

The two former policemen, along with the 15 other suspects, were charged with enterprise corruption, which carries a sentence of up to 25 years in prison, said District Attorney Richard A. Brown. Various suspects were also charged with promoting gambling and conspiracy, the prosecutor said.

Wynonna Judd's Husband Arrested for Sex With Pre-teen, She Files for Divorce from Dan Roach

As if her life wasn't enough of a soap opera already, country singer Wynonna Judd has filed for divorce from her husband, Dan R. Roach, after he was arrested in Abilene and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child younger than 13 in Nashville. Here's more from the China Daily:

"I am obviously devastated," the 42-year-old country singer said in a statement on her Web site. "Our family will pull together, begin the healing process and hopefully - by the Grace of God - become stronger. Judd cited irreconcilable differences as a reason for divorce in the complaint filed in the Nashville suburb of Williamson County. The couple, who were married in November 2003, have been separated since Feb. 18, according to the complaint.
Roach had been receiving treatment for drug and alcohol addiction at a rehabilitation clinic in Buffalo Gap, Texas, Judd said.
The couple have no children. Judd has children from a previous marriage.

Michigan Lawmaker Driving on Suspended License, Expired Plates

Bert Johnson is a freshman representative from the Detroit area in the Michigan Legislature. Recently, the Detroit Free Press did a little digging and found out that not only were the tags on Johnson's 2001 Jaguar expired, it also appears the he was driving on a suspended license for most of the last 18 years! And this, a guy who was assigned to the state's insurance committee.
Johnson has since made restitution with the state (to the tune of 1,641 in overdue fees for driving infractions and $150 to get his driving privileges back) and now claims to be "on the road legally."
One more side note: the reason his tags were expired is because he wrote the state a check that bounced! Looks like this guy's on the fast track to Washington, DC!

Teacher Michelle Morano Arrested for Sex With Boy - 17

State authorities say 33-year-old Michelle Morano of Cedar Grove, who taught at West Essex Regional High School in North Caldwell, began a sexual relationship with a then 17-year-old male student in late 2006 that continued until January.
The student is now 18.
The relationship was discovered during an ongoing investigation of insurance fraud. But state officials declined to elaborate on the case

Man Arrested for Shampoo Camera to Spy on Female Roommates - Steven Thibodeau

A man landed in hot water after police say he hid a tiny camera in a shampoo bottle to watch two of his female roommates as they took showers. A male roommate, curious why the shampoo wasn't moved for some time, found wires protruding from the back of the bottle, then called police, authorities said.
The camera recorded through a pinhole, and the images were sent to Steven Thibodeau's television, police said. Thibodeau, 25, had placed the camera to record the women showering and made video of one of them changing clothes, according to police.
Thibodeau was arraigned Wednesday on 15 counts of voyeurism and one count of evidence tampering, which alleges he tried to delete some images.

Chicago Cop Punches Female Bartender Who Wouldn't Serve Him

This is so wrong! A huge off-duty Chicago police officer has been arrested after a videotaped beating of a tiny female bartender came to light. Catch the video here. More from First Coast News:

A bar beating caught on tape lands a Chicago police officer behind bars. He is accused of throwing the punches -- brutally attacking the much-smaller bartender -- after she refused to serve him alcohol last month.

Anthony Abbate was clearly behaving badly even before he attacked the 25-year-old bartender. Security video shows the 38-year-old off-duty police officer throwing down the petite woman and beating her repeatedly.

"He came behind the bar and beat a sweet, 5-foot-3, 120 pound woman senseless by throwing her around like she was a sack of potatoes, kicking her, and punching her repeatedly when she was drunk," the victim's attorney Terry Ekl said.

Abbate appeared in court Wednesday to answer what were previously misdemeanor battery charges and are now felony charges, which involve the state's attorney's office.

"Those acts merit a felony charge," assistant state's attorney David Navarro said.

Aussie Policewoman in Trouble Over Topless Pictures - Constable Melissa Scannell

The general rule of thumb anymore is: don't send a picture of yourself naked to a boyfriend or girlfriend unless you want all their friends to see it. Case in point: an Australian female police officer who sent a topless picture of herself (in uniform no less) to her boyfriend (also on the force) as a sort of "get well" message. That's one of the pics at right. You know where this story goes. More from The Age:

A photograph of a young Victoria Police constable exposing her breasts while in uniform, which she sent to her policeman boyfriend, has been circulated through the force's internal email.

The ethical standards department is examining the matter to determine whether an offence has been committed as a result of the circulation of the image, a Victoria Police spokeswoman has confirmed.

It is believed the policewoman, named on the Nine Network last night as Constable Melissa Scannell, took the image on her mobile phone and passed it on to her boyfriend as an intimate get well message.

The constable was in her police uniform with her name badge visible, her shirt undone and her breasts exposed when she was photographed.

But the image was circulated widely through the force's internal email, landing in the inboxes of top-ranking officers and ethical standards department detectives.

"She has sent an image to her boyfriend and obviously he has done the wrong thing and forwarded it on," a Victoria Police spokeswoman told AAP.

Teacher Gets 10 Years in Prison for Sex With 13-Year-Old Boy - Rachel L. Holt

In a move that could really shock the educational community, a female teacher who had sex with an underage boy finally got the maximum sentence by a judge: 10 years. The attorney for Rachel L. Holt claims the had examples of 40 cases of similar situations were teachers received much lighter sentences: 6 to 18 months on average. But that didn't help Ms. Holt out, as the judge claims she never had any remorse over her actions and still blames everyone else for her actions . . . which apparently including having sex with a 13-year-old boy more than 15 times, giving him booze and letting him drive her car. Holt was initially charged with 28 counts of first-degree rape. Police
accused her of having illegal sexual intercourse with the boy at least that many times during an intense weeklong affair. She was also accused of plying the boy with alcohol and allowing him to drive her car.
Holt pleaded guilty to second-degree rape, and the 10-year sentence was the mandatory minimum. Deputy Attorney General Jim Kriner asked Superior Court Judge Calvin L. Scott to give Holt the maximum sentence of 25 years. Scott made no comment when he read the sentence.
Holt's attorney, John S. Malik, said both female and male teachers have received far less prison time for similar crimes. He reviewed 40 such cases around the country and found that the average sentence was 18 months to two years.
Among those cases: Dion Savage, a Dover music teacher who admitted a sexual encounter with a male student and was caught with lewd photos of other students, received a two-year sentence.
Kriner said Holt showed no remorse in interviews with pre-sentence officials. "She blames everyone but herself," Kriner said, including her victim and his parents.

Assist. Principal, Teacher Wife Accused of Holding Kegger for Teens - Allegedly Charged $5 a Person

We suppose if you're going to serve booze to underage drinkers, you might as well charge for it, right? But you would think that an assistant principal and his teacher wife would know better, or at least be able to cover up their actions well. But not John and Mary Clark who work in the Newberry, SC school district, who have both been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. According to police, the charges stem from a summer party the Clarks threw at their lake house in 2006 where beer was served from kegs, and students said they also drank some type of spiked punch. The number of kids, and their exact ages have not been revealed by cops, but the impression from the article is that they were all high school students and most likely underage. The Clarks were caught after one of the students who attended the party went to their parents who then went to the police.(WYFF4 - link includes video clip.) The couple's mug shots, at right.
