Mom, Trying on Bras at Target, Looks Up to Find Man Staring at Her - Jennifer Turner

For Jennifer Turner, a St. Petersburg, Florida mother of two, a recent trip to the local Target store to buy bras should have been a happy occasion. Turner had just gotten breast implants and was seeing what fit in the dressing room when she looked up and saw a maintenance man on a ladder looking down at her. The unidentified peeper allegedly stared back for a second, then took off, never to be heard from again . . . but not Turner and her husband, Justin. At first he wanted to find the guy and punch him, but now he just wants to sue Target, who seems less than concerned about the incident.
After the incident, about all the local store manager could do is offer an apology and the local police say no charges can really be filed because "no evidence he intended to watch her." It seems that the contractor was just fixing something in the ceiling and either didn't ask, or wasn't told by store staff that someone was in the dressing room . . . naked. Teacher, 51, Accused of Flashing Cell Phone Picture of Penis to Girl - Edison Muñoz, North Miami Beach Senior High

Those high school math teachers: they're always up to something. Take Edison Muñoz, 51, who teaches at North Miami Beach Senior High. According to a 17-year-old student, on May 17 she was in class and noticed a picture of Muñoz's son on his cell phone and asked to see it. He handed it over and then, after she gave it back, he asked her if she wanted to see more pictures and when she said yes, he handed the phone back and--allegedly--there was a picture on it of his penis. She quickly handed it back and he told her he had more pictures to show her and again--allegedly--it was another picture of his private parts, then boasted that, in fact, it was his. Muñoz has been charged with showing obscene materials to a minor and the school has him handling administrative duties. (Miami Herald)

Female Teacher, 54, Accused of Sex With Boy, 14 - Charlene Schmitz, Leroy High School

54! 54? She's 40 years older than the alleged victim. That has to be some kind of "cougar" record, doesn't it? Anyway, the story goes that Charlene Schmitz taught at Leroy High School in Alabama and is charged with second-degree rape and second-degree sodomy with a 14-year-old boy. The mother of the boy reportedly found emails between the two discussing oral sex, which is probably not the kind of stuff that is usually discussed at parent-teacher conferences. Cops questioned the boy who confessed that the pair had relations multiple times at her residence.
According to at least one report, Schmitz has children older than the victim and the police seemed particularly impressed with her, uh, stamina. "This is an unusual case for our area," Stringer said. "The age difference is 40 years between them. I've been in law enforcement most of my life, and I have heard of cases where a young teacher right out of college becomes involved with students in high school, but never an age difference like this," the sheriff said. Man Arrested for Letting Children Ride in Car Trunk - Minnesota

A Minnesota man is in trouble after cops pulled him over to find not one, but two kids in the trunk of his car. This, after another motorist saw the kids get in near Minneapolis and called police. Why the trunk? The man claims the kids, 12 and 8, WANTED to ride in there, so, as a responsible, thinking adult, he let them. (WCCO)

Parents Arrested for Leaving Toddler in Sun to Ride "Pirates of the Caribbean" at Disney World - Juan and Danette Rodriguez

Hey, we all loved the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean". Some of us even liked the sequels, which means for the folks at Disney World that the original ride that the movie was based on is even more popular than ever. So popular, in fact, that two people were arrested after riding it. No, they didn't cut in line: apparently Juan and Danette Rodriguez left their 3-year-old daughter strapped in a stroller while they waiting in line for 45 minutes. Concerned strangers tried to move the kid into shade as the temps climbed and after a while park medics arrived and found her "nearly lifeless" and took her inside and gave her water. When mom and dad showed up, the claimed that they thought the other had the child and that it was all just a big misunderstanding. (Local 6 - link includes video clip)

Ex-Marine, 72, Pummels Pick Pocket Who Tries to Steal $300 - Bill Barnes, Walker, Michigan

Hey, this happened not too far away from the offices of The Dumbass Daily! Cool.

Basically, this senior citizen was minding his own business in a gas station in in Comstock Park, a Grand Rapids suburb when he felt a hand slip into his front-left pants pocket, where he had $300 in cash. Unfortunately for the thief, Jesse Daniel Rae, 27, the pants belonged to Bill Barnes, 72, who was not only and former Marine, but also a Golden Gloves and is a retired iron worker. Rae didn't get far as Barnes started throwing punches with his right hand, landing six or seven blows, before a the 400 lb store manager intervened and slammed the alleged criminal to the ground.

Mr. Rae now faces one count of unarmed robbery, a 15-year felony and Mr. Barnes has our undying respect and admiration. (Philly.com)

Women Accused of Having Sex in Swimming Pool Bathroom - Emily Hernandez, Johannie Jimenez

Talk about your strange, stupid stories. Two Florida women were arrested yesterday for battering a pregnant woman in the bathroom of a swimming pool in Seminole County, Fla. Why? Well, according to the victim, when she walked into the locker room at the Casselberry public pool, she found two women, Emily Hernandez and Johannie Jimenez performing oral sex on each other (guys, we always knew this kind of stuff went on in ladies restrooms, right?) while a third woman took pictures! When the victim and her kids tried to leave (7's a crowd, right?) they claim they were detained by the amorous pair. Eventually they were allowed to leave and soon the cops arrived . . . but the fun doesn't end there. According to officers, in the car on the way to the station, Hernandez apparently bit Jimenez. The pair are charged with battery on a pregnant person, false imprisonment of an adult and child under 13 years old.
In another version of the story, Hernandez and Jimenez were alleged to have left their own children alone in the pool to have sex in the locker room. And yet another report claims that one of the two claims it was all a big misunderstanding and that one of them had just gotten new breast implants and was just showing them to the other ladies. And somehow, a grown woman mistook that for oral sex? Doubtful, but the trial should be fun, shouldn't it? At right, the tearing mugshots of Hernandez and Jimenez. Jogger Shoots at Aggressive Pit Bull

We've all seen the stories: someone is running or walking past a home where the owner has a pit bull and the dog "somehow" gets loose or escapes a fenced yard and attacks the victim . . . sometimes with fatal results. So you can't blame a Florida woman, Christine Bruce, for carrying a baseball bat, mace and a handgun when she jogs after getting attacked by one of these canine monsters several years ago. She claims the owner of a dog on her route was getting the dog excited and then tried to get him to attack her. She, of course, didn't wait to see if poochie was friendly or not and fired at it once and missed.
The dog's owner says it was all a misunderstanding and that his dog just got off its lease and stopped when he called it. Then again, when cops went to investigate, the dog acted aggressively toward them. Now the whole matter has been turned over to local Animal Control. (Local 6)

Video of Strippers Entertaining Golfers With Lap Dances at Cherry Valley Golf Club

Golf is a manly sport, and as such, occasionally requires a manly diversion on the course such as a bawdy joke or lap dance. Wait, what? Here's more from The Morning Call:

Talk about bare in the woods ... a Pocono golf outing that featured topless strippers and lap dances is drawing the attention of national media and local police.
Two detectives are investigating whether the 10 dancers from C.R. Fanny's Gentlemen's Club and Sports Bar, a strip club in Wilson that sponsored the outing, broke open lewdness laws at the Cherry Valley Golf Club on Monday, said Lt. Brian Kimmins of the Stroud Area Regional police.
Strip club owner Richard Pouser said he doesn't understand what the fuss is about, saying "I don't believe there was a crime committed."
And Marshall E. Anders, the Stroudsburg lawyer for golf course owner Gene Percudani, said the event benefited a good cause. "All the proceeds were for the disabled veterans," Anders said. "The golf course thought it a worthy cause. That's why it put it on."

Hot Springs, Arkansas Cop Joey Williams Goes Nuts on Teen Skateboarders - Go Skate Boarding Day, June 21, 2007

Not sure what's going on here, but it doesn't make the cop look very good. June 21 was Go Skate Boarding Day and, well, these kids in Hot Springs were skateboarding downtown when an officer, later identified as Joey Williams, tried to arrest one of them. He ended up arrested several of them. Here's more from Fox 16:

Hot Springs police are looking into an officer's actions after an Internet video appeared to show him choking three teens who were skateboarding near the city's famed Bathhouse Row.
Hot Springs police spokesman McCrary Means confirmed today that Officer Joey Williams stopped the teens on a city sidewalk June 21st. Means declined further comment, saying the department would release more information about the arrests later today.
The YouTube video, posted Monday, shows Williams apparently choking one teen and forcing him to the ground, while later chasing and wrestling two others while holding them in a headlock. Voices in the background can be heard asking Williams why he was arresting the youths.
In the video, Williams says several times that the teens violated a city ordinance by "fleeing" from police. Williams could not be immediately reached for comment.

Woman,22, Arrested for Having Sex With Boy,14 on Side of Road - Melissa Danielle Cullen

Police officers were apparently concerned when they saw a car off the side of the road on Highway 101 in Oregon. When the cop approached the vehicle, instead of seeing a distressed motorist, he found two people having sex . . . and one of them an underage boy. Wonder how long a cop has to witness that before he can make the official call they were, in fact, "doing it?" Is there a legal standard of seconds or minutes before they have to step in and break things up, or can they wait until the "least opportune" moment to knock on the door? Anyway, here's more from Fox 11 in Tucson:

“Deputy Dorsey witnessed two subjects in the vehicle having sex. Further investigation revealed that the female was, Melissa Danielle Cullen, age 22 of Berkeley California, and the male subject was a 14 year old juvenile,” said Mark Meister with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said the boy had driven from Berkley, Calif. to Oregon with Cullen without his parents’ permission.
Cullen was taken into custody for Sex Abuse III, Rape III, Contributing to the Sexual Delinquency of a Minor, and Custodial Interference I.

Nude American Sunbather Arrested on Spanish Steps in Rome

I guess when you're dirty, you're dirty and you need to get clean . . . even if it means stripping naked and wading into one of Rome's most famous fountains. Here's more from Reuters:

A 22-year-old American man was arrested on Sunday after an early morning naked bath in the historic Barcaccia fountain at the foot of Rome's Spanish Steps, an Italian news agency reported.
The man stripped and bathed in the 17th century Baroque fountain in front of a crowd of tourists, before being led away by police, AGI news agency said.
He faces charges of committing an obscene act, it said.

Teacher Arrested, Claims He Confused Girl, 15, With Her Older Sister - Ralph Richard Shollenberger, Dunnellon Middle School

Now, it will be interesting to see how this story holds up in court! According to Ralph Richard Shollenberger, who used to teach at Dunnellon Middle School, the reason he allegedly dated and had sex with a girl 15, was that he had "previously dated the girl's older sister and had confused the two." Oh really? A swore statement by the victim says she doesn't HAVE and older sister. Here's more from The Star Banner:

A Dunnellon Middle School teacher has been arrested and charged with having sex with a 15-year-old former student.
Ralph Richard Shollenberger, 35, of the 5900 block of Northwest 17th Street, Ocala, was charged Thursday with lewd and lascivious battery. He was being held late Thursday in the Marion County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail.
According to an arrest affidavit, Shollenberger taught the student about two years ago and he would watch her softball games. The girl told detectives with the Marion County Sheriff's Office that the two of them had sexual contact two times, the first on Valentine's Day. The report added he would pick the girl up and take her to his house. They also allegedly went out on dates, one time to a restaurant.
The student's mother reported the alleged incidents to the Marion County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday after she was told by a neighbor that the pair were having a sexual relationship.
The affidavit adds that Shollenberger was interviewed by detectives on Thursday and admitted that he had sexual relations with the girl and she was his former student. However, he told detectives that he had previously dated the girl's older sister and had confused the two.
The affidavit said the girl does not have a sister.

Second Person Arrested in Case of Missing Pregnant Woman - Myisha Ferrell

The strange case of Jessie Davis gets even stranger. After a body was found over the weekend and her former boyfriend Bobby Cutts, Jr. was arrested, comes word that a second person has also been brought in: Myisha Ferrell, a former classmate of Cutts. Here's more from WTOL:

Two court appearances are scheduled today in the case of a pregnant woman whose body was discovered in an Ohio park. Bobby Cutts, Junior, will be arraigned on charges of murdering his girlfriend, Jessie Davis, and her fetus. Now one of Cutts' former classmates, Myisha Ferrell, faces an obstruction of justice charge.
Authorities searched Ferrell's apartment Saturday and arrested her Sunday, but haven't provided any details, saying that making that information public would hurt their case. A neighbor says authorities seized bottles of bleach and other items during a two-hour search.
Cutts is a Canton police officer who was arrested Saturday, the same day Davis' body was found, still carrying her dead, nearly full-term fetus. She had been reported missing June 15th.

Four Arrested for Branding 'Snitch' in Woman's Face, Also Beat Her & Cut Her Hair - Mesa, AZ

Sometimes, you do the right thing and it only comes back to bite you in the ass. Take this Mesa, Arizona woman who was jumped by for people for calling Child Protective Services on them back in February 2006. Here's more from KPHO:

Four people have been arrested in connection with kidnapping, assaulting and using a branding iron to burn the word 'snitch' on a Mesa woman's face, police said.
Investigators said they believe the crime was done in retaliation for reporting one of the men and woman to Child Protective Services in February 2006, which ultimately led to CPS taking away their kids.
"If CPS removes a child from the house, there must be some very serious allegations," said Sgt. Chuck Trapani of the Mesa Police Department. "So the children removed, they're in CPS custody, and now they're blaming this person for what they did wrong. "
James H. Standridge, 34, Jackie L. Getz, 26, and Kibbol A. Avila, 33, were charged with one count each of kidnapping, aggravated assault and unlawful imprisonment.
Preston L. Valdez, 21, was charged with one count each of aggravated assault and unlawful imprisonment with a no-bond status.
Police said the victim, a 38-year-old woman, called the Mesa Police Department on June 13 to report the crime.
Officers said an intensive five-day investigation determined that the group worked together to ensure that the woman would be at a certain apartment in Mesa.
When the woman entered the apartment, the group assaulted and held her against her will, detectives said.
The suspects shaved off a portion of the victim’s hair and using a branding iron, wrote the word “snitch” on her face, then blindfolded her, officers said.

Dearborn, MI Teacher Arrested for Trying to Arrange for Oral and Anal Sex With 14-Year-Old Boy - Steven Lysogorski, Dearborn Public Schools

Yes, once again an online perv thought he was talking to an underage child and it turned out to be a very grown up cop. Only this time, it was a middle school teacher who wanted to have all kinds of wild sex with the kid in his Toyota Camry . . . a very sensible vehicle in most cases. A Dearborn schoolteacher, charged with watching over middle school students in detention, is set to be arraigned today for allegedly trying to have sex with a 14-year-old.
The teacher, a 37-year-old Dearborn man, allegedly chatted with the teen several times online and arranged to meet the boy for anal and oral sex in a Toyota Camry.
The teen, however, was actually an undercover Wayne County Sheriff’s deputy.
In exchange for sex, the teacher had agreed to give the boy a cell phone they could use to arrange more trysts, sheriff’s officials said.
The man was arrested at a prearranged location just outside of Detroit, said Wayne County Sheriff's Spokesman John Roach.
The teacher is expected to arraigned today in Hamtramck District Court on charges of illegal use of the Internet and child sexually abusive activity. He faces 20 years in prison.

Ana Paula de Oliveira, Brazil's Hottest Soccer Referee, In Trouble for Posing for Playboy - Pic & Video

A soccer referee posing naked? Before you hurl your lunch, you should know that Ana Paula de Oliveira is, in fact, female and very attractive at that. She even has her own website. However, the Brazilian Football Confederation (the sports governing body in that country) is unhappy with her for agreeing to pose naked for the that country's version of Playboy. Brazilian assistant referee Ana Paula de Oliveira is to appear naked in the Brazilian edition of the magazine Playboy, a move which has sparked controversy in the football-crazy nation.
“The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) will analyse the implications that the episode could have for the assistant to carry out her function,” Edson Rezende, chairman of the CBF’s refereeing commission, said in a statement on Wednesday.
This might pave the way for a new sanction on Oliveira, 29. The woman has already been withdrawn from the list of referees in the Brazilian Championship, after disallowing a legitimate goal in the semi-finals of the Brazilian Cup.
The pretty referee, who continues to be active in games in the state of Sao Paulo, signed a deal with Playboy on Monday and is set to appear naked in the edition of the magazine which will be published in July. According to press reports, Oliveira is to get up to US$230,000 for the photo shoots.

Naked South Carolina Couple Fall 50 Feet to Their Death From Roof; May Have Been Having Sex - Brent W. Tyler, Chelsey A. Tubleston,

Some people enjoy the rush of having sex in public places, with the apparent thrill of getting caught adding to the pleasure. Or not. Police in Columbia, SC think they may have a case of public sex gone bad after two naked people were found dead in a street and appeared to have fallen 50 feet from a nearby room. Autopsies were scheduled Thursday for a naked couple that died after falling about 50 feet from the roof of a downtown office building.
Police on Wednesday said their deaths were an apparent accident. Clothing was found on the roof and authorities said the couple may have been having sex.
The victims were identified as Brent W. Tyler, 21, and Chelsey A. Tubleston, 21, Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said. The coroner previously said the couple were students at the University of South Carolina, but on Thursday a school spokesman said they were not currently enrolled.
Tubleston attended the Columbia campus in 2005-06 and Tyler attended.

Pennsylvania Crossing Guard Faces 1,000 Child Sex Charges - Dale Hutchings, Orange Street Elementary School

Wow! We've had a lot of bad teachers on this site over the years. but can't recall a school crossing guard before. If this Dale Hutchings did what the cops say he did, this could get ugly. Here's more from WCBS-TV:

A school crossing guard accused of molesting seven children was charged with more than 1,000 counts of sexual assault.
Dale Hutchings was arrested Tuesday and charged with 305 counts of raping a child, 356 counts of aggravated indecent assault against a child under 13, and 356 counts of indecent assault against a child under 13.
The assaults took place between 1998 and 2007, and all of the victims were under 13 when the attacks began, police said.
Hutchings, of Berwick, worked as a crossing guard near Orange Street Elementary School. He also worked for the Berwick Area Ambulance Association and was a high school band booster.

Home Ec Teacher Promises Boy "Good Grade" in Exchange for Sex - Flint Northern High School

This one is a little more conveluted than most, but the basic premise is there: female teacher plus male student equals inappropriate relationship. As happens in many of these cases, the boy's mother found text messages from the teacher, but this time it happened while the kid was in juvenile detention on armed robbery charges. Hey, it is Flint, after all. Here's more from ABC 12:

The victim's mother says her son admitted to having sex with his Flint Northern teacher after she discovered a series of text messages, cards and a letter from the woman.
The Flint school system put the 29-year-old full-time substitute teacher on administrative leave on April 11.
"I've got text messages, voice messages I turned over to police, and right there I have letters she wrote him," the mother said.
In one of those letters the mother claims the teacher sent to her 16-year-old son, she started off by writing, "Hey, sweetie. School is not the same without you I miss you."
The mother says the teacher sent it to the Genesee Valley Detention Center days after her son was arrested for armed robbery.
"When I confronted the child about it the day he committed a crime, he was with her smoking marijuana, abusing alcohol and they engaged in sexual intercourse," said Jeff Clothier, the victim's lawyer.
The mother of the alleged victim says the Flint Northern home economics substitute teacher took him to her house to have sex.
"They had sex one time, he said, at her house," the mother said. "He described to police how her house looked where she lived."
The mother says the teacher promised her son a good grade.
"I don't want a teacher having sex with my son -- a 29 year-old woman," the mother said. "And he shouldn't have to have sex with his teacher to get a good grade in school."
