Girl 17, Admits Posing Topless in Classroom for Teacher - Jason Joel Pearce

Jason Joel Pearce, a former Texas substitute teacher at Plano's Bowman Middle School and later at Williams High School, is on trial, accused of sexual performance of a child and sexual assault of a child. This week one of his victims testified that the two were more like friends and that it wasn't unusual for him to ask her for favors . . . like posing topless in his classroom for pictures. Here's more from the Dallas Morning News:

The girl, who remained on the witness stand all day, testified that in May 2005, just after her 15th birthday, she went to Mr. Pearce's classroom during his off-period. There, he gave her a gift, a bottle of lubricant.
Then, she said, he asked to photograph her. She agreed and posed. Afterwards, she said, he asked her to put on a bikini top that she had brought to school. She did, and he took more pictures.
"He told me to take the bathing suit top off so he could get some pictures topless," the girl testified.
Prosecutor Jessie Allen asked the girl why she did what he asked.
"Because I can't say no," she said, adding that she had had an abusive boyfriend and was hit whenever she told him no.
She said Mr. Pearce touched her breasts and then stuck his hand down the front of her pants and touched her genitals.
During a search, police found photographs in Mr. Pearce's backpack of the girl posing in sexual positions.
She and Mr. Pearce even swapped photographs, the girl said. She gave him her school picture in exchange for the black-and-white head shot he used for acting auditions. On his picture, Mr. Pearce wrote: "You're my bestest student ever." And in a note that police found at the girl's house, he referred to himself as her "first husband."

Woman Arrested in Fudge Robbery After False Sex Assault Claim - Catherine Anne Delgado, Video Clip

This has to be one of the stranger stories of the year. A woman walks into the Maryland House Hotel in Annapolis, Maryland and tells the clerk there she's been sexually assaulted. When the cops arrive the quickly find out that the alleged victim, Catherine Anne Delgado, really wasn't attacked, and then notice she has packages of fudge sticking our of her pockets and fudge stains on her blouse. That led one officer to check on the nearby Fudge Kitchen and there found that the front door was unsecured and a large amount of product was missing. By the time officers got back to the hotel, they found that Delgado had then tried to flush the evidence down a hotel toilet . . . unsuccessfully, we might ad. The story might end there, but today a surveillance video from the fudge shop was released and it would be sad if it wasn't so funny. (Washington Post)

Having the reputation as being "a young and fun teacher" may not be a good thing, especially when you're allegedly into young girls and the fun part involves oral sex. Here's more from Twin Cities.com:

Joseph Arne Tucker, 28, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. He faces 90 days in jail, according to the Ramsey County attorney's office.
According to the criminal complaint, Tucker, a band teacher, became close to his victim during a school production of "Cinderella." Another student reported seeing the pair kissing at the high school. Alarmed, the girl's friends told an assistant principal.
The assistant principal spoke to the girl, who said she and Tucker sent cell-phone text messages to each other and hung out together after school hours.
Tucker gave her rides home, and "every now and then they would kiss," the girl said, according to the complaint. She described it as a "really close relationship."
The assistant principal examined the girl's cell phone and found more than 20 text messages from Tucker, as well as photographs of the two. In the girl's purse, authorities found a letter from Tucker "in which he describes performing very specific sex acts on her," the complaint stated.
Police arrested Tucker in May after a student saw him picking up the girl at school.
Tucker told police he brought the girl to his St. Paul house, and they had oral sex two or three times a month, the complaint stated.
