DUMBASSDAILY UPDATE: Last year we reported on the story of Jeni Lee Dinkel, 52, a Hollywood make-up artist and wife of former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Tom Dinkel, who was sent to jail for having sex with a 15-year-old classmate of her son's at Covington Catholic High School. As part of her probation, Dinkel was supposed to complete some sex offender treatment sessions, allegedly because she was supposed to bring her son along and she didn't want him expoised to the male rapists and other bad people there. Kindergarten Teacher Angela Csader, Pregnant by Boyfriend, 16, Continues to Teach for Six Months - Anthem Elementary School

Knocked up by a teenaged boy and still teaching kindergarten . . . for more than six months? And, while you are trial in a nearby county for having illegal sexual relations with a teenaged boy? How does that happen? No one seems to know for sure, but somehow big bleached blonde teacher Angela Csader pulled it off until January 31 of this year when the Florence Unified School District finally figured out what was going on. For six months, teacher Angela Csader walked into her kindergarten classroom with a secret. The 25-year-old Queen Creek woman was arrested in July on suspicion of having sex with a 16-year-old Gilbert boy - a boy who fathered her child.
Yet officials at Anthem Elementary School and the Florence Unified School District said they knew nothing about it. She continued to teach students during a half-year span when she appeared multiple times before a Maricopa County court and was on supervised release with a curfew.
"Because it was out of our county and jurisdiction, there were limited ways we could find out about it," district spokesman Larry Cline said. "We don't check the Web sites every day for this."
Csader resigned from her job Jan. 31, the day after the district received information from the Arizona Department of Education about child sex charges against her. But the lapse in time between her arrest and the district being notified has raised concerns from district officials and parents.
"I wish to express not only our distress but our commitment to ensuring the safety ... of your children," district Superintendent Gary Nine wrote in a letter to parents. It's not clear why it took so long for the school to learn of Csader's arrest.

Teacher Emily Kate Janes Charged With Sex With Male Student, 18 - Deer Park High School

Another day, another female teacher arrested for having sex with an underage student. This time it's in Texas, where Emily Kate Janes used to teach 11th-grade English at Deer Park High School, her very first teaching job out of college. According to cops, Janes and the young male met last spring when he was a student in her class. According to prosecutors, Janes and the teen allegedly had sexual relationships for about a month starting in late December 2007 and ending only recently. As a result, Emily Kate Janes is charged with having an improper relationship with an 18-year-old student, a second-degree felony, and is out of jail on a $30,000 bond.

Woman on $2500 a Month Disability Somehow Leases $100,000 BMW - Vivian Snyder

Think it's just homes that people spent too much money for during the recent housing boom? Think again! Now comes the story of Vivian Snyder, of Freemont California, who apparently fell in love with a brand new convertible BMW with a MSRP listed at approximately $100,000. The monthly lease payment was "only" $1300 a month. Not bad . . . unless your total income each month is more than a disability check for only $2500. How did Snyder think she could afford such a car and why in the world would BMW of Fremont and BMW Financial Services approve her application? Sounds like everyone got a little excited about closing the deal and may have lied--just a little--on her loan application . . . like stating that she actually made $8600 a month, without any kind of verification. In one of the versions of this story we read, Snyder also stated that she put her entire life savings of $30,000 down on the lease, on a car she can't afford and will lose. Here's more from CBS 5:

Most consumers can't afford it, and neither could Snyder. That's because the monthly lease payment was $1,300. It ate up half her income which was a $2,500 disability check. "I made a mistake by driving off with the car. I thought my situation would change. I thought I'd be able to go back to work soon and make my usual salary. You always hope things will get better. I didn't realize I was getting such a bad deal. They added all these extras knowing it would be difficult for me to make the payments already. I'm greatly embarrassed, I should have looked over the lease better."
Snyder made three unsuccessful attempts to return the car, but the dealership told CBS5 it had no authority to take it back. The lease was already in the hands of the lender BMW Financial. How did the deal even happen? Apparently, her income was inflated by nearly 150%.
According to consumer advocate Rosemary Shahan with Consumers for Auto Reliability and Safety the practice is common. "This is an epidemic of loan applications being falsified," said Shahan. "In fact, the model for the meltdown we're seeing in real estate and home mortgage lending was auto lending."
Snyder's story started like so many others. She went to the dealership which is owned by Autonation, the largest automobile retailer in the country just to look.
She was caught up in the excitement and said she told the salesperson about her $2,500-a month income. But, what ended up on the credit application was the amount she could be making if she was not on disability.
"He (the salesperson) put what he thought I needed to get qualified for the car," according to Vivian. She admitted she signed the lease with an inflated income at $6000 a month.
But CBS5 reviewed the lease application handed to Vivian as she left and compared it to a page from the same multi-layer document she retrieved days later.
Snyder's income had been changed once again - from $6,000 to $8,600, this time without her knowing. An "8" had been placed before the "6" and "0"s tacked at the end. General Manager Larry Long said a salesperson insists he changed the figure while Vivian was present.
"I witnessed that sale. I saw her and congratulated her. She was so thankful. She was so passionate about wanting that car and would have done anything to get that car," Long said. Long directed the blame on the finance company - BMW Financial Services. "It's up to them to look at the credit application and they will see it at face value what the customer puts on paper as to be the truth," Long said.
CBS5 learned BMW Financial Services approved Snyder's lease based on her income stated as $8600. The approval occurred within a two-hour window and proof of income was not necessary.
Martha McKinley, a spokesperson with BMW Financial Services, said, "We have investigated this matter internally, and we are satisfied that BMW Financial Services acted appropriately at all times during the application and credit review process."

Man Trolls Court Website, Posts Bond for Attractive Women, Demands Sex in Return - Jason Lee

Is that so wrong? You're not supposed to troll court websites looking at the mug shots of young women who've been arrested, then offer to post their bail (sometimes as little as $100) in exchange for sex with your and/or your friends? Sounds like a win/win situation . . . or at least it must have for Jason Lee, 28 (not THAT Jason Lee), of Cincinnati, Ohio. And the female judge who found out about his little operation is not to happy about it either. Here's more from WLWT - link includes video clip:

Judge Nadine Allen had Lee taken into custody after a domestic violence suspect told her in court that Lee, sitting in the back of the courtroom, had been having sex with her in exchange for her release on bond. Allen said Lee told her that he was there to collect money owed to him.
“When we think about sex slave rings, we think about Darfur, Sudan, Africa, even Russian situations we've heard about, but this is happening in Hamilton County,” Allen said. The judge said Lee trolled the Hamilton County jail Web site, looking for women. When he found one he wanted, Allen said, Lee would post her bond in exchange for sex. “So here's a guy cruising the Internet to post bond for a stranger, gets her out and she said, the defendant, says he forced her to have sex with his friends,” Allen said.

Lunch Lady Arrested for DUI, Cops Find Bong and Weed in Car - Laurie Kovarie, 51

Working with other people's kids has to be the hardest job in the world. Bad enough if you're a teacher, but how would you like to be a cafeteria worker (aka "the Lunch Lady") and get verbally abused on a daily basis for the rotten food you are forced to serve? It might be enough to turn you to drink, or pot . . . or both. Apparently, that's what might have happened to Laurie Kovarie, 51, of Rangeley, Maine when cops arrived after she reportedly rear-ended a family in their mini-van. But it wouldn't be a Dumbass Daily story if it just ended there, would it? Here's more from the Sun Journal:

Police officer Jared Austin said Tuesday that Kovarie's car struck the back of a minivan driven by Arsenio Mestre, 45, a family doctor from Orlando, Fla., as the two vehicles were traveling down Dallas Hill Road toward the intersection with Route 4. When Austin arrived, he said, he was met by both parties.

It appears she came down the hill and "creamed" the rear end of the minivan as both vehicles were still moving, Austin said. The officer said Mestre told him he believed Kovarie was intoxicated because he could smell alcohol on her.

Austin said he then interviewed Kovarie, whom the officer said works in the cafeteria at Rangeley Lakes Regional School, and asked her several times for her insurance card, but she didn't give it to him. He also smelled alcohol on Kovarie, he said, and asked her how many drinks she had.

Kovarie said she had three drinks, according to the officer. He told her they were going to do a field sobriety test, and they could either do it on the slippery Dallas Hill or go to the police station. She said she wasn't going to do it, he said, and walked back to her car. Austin said he gave her the option two more times and she still refused.

He went back to his cruiser, he said, and he saw Kovarie get out of her car and start walking away. He yelled to her to stop but she kept going, he added, and he had to run after her. "I told her, 'you're not free to go,'" Austin said.

He grabbed her arm and put her under arrest, he said, and then she ripped her arm away. "I had to forcibly put handcuffs on her," Austin said.

When he went back to search the car, he said, he found the insurance card on the passenger seat. He also found a bong full of unburned marijuana on the floor near the gas pedal, Austin said.

Mother Abandons Boy, 3, at St. Louis Mall, Refuses to Pick Him Up From Cops - Shameka Taylor

The Mother of the Year competition for 2008 is heating up early! Among the contenders out of the box early is Shameka Taylor of St. Louis who reportedly not only left her 3-year-old son Cortez at the St. Louis Mills mall in Hazelwood on Saturday, but then refused to come pick the boy up from police. Why? She was afraid she would be arrested and according to some reports is afraid because she already has some outstanding warrants against her. Here's more from Fox News:

Police still want to know why a 3-year-old boy was left alone at a suburban St. Louis shopping mall over the weekend. But by Monday, the child's mother was still refusing to show up and talk with officers.
The boy was discovered by employees around 8:30 p.m. Saturday at NASCAR SpeedPark in the St. Louis Mills mall in Hazelwood, not long before the mall was to close. Mall security searched the area, seeking a parent or guardian but couldn't locate one. They notified Hazelwood police around 9:15 p.m.
The boy told police his name was "Cortez," and officers determined he was 3. But his complete identity was unknown until nearly 21 hours later.
Police circulated his picture to the media, and his aunt called authorities about 6 p.m. Sunday. The aunt verified that she, the boy's mother and a group of children had been at the mall, Hazelwood police Lt. Ken Jewson said.
Soon after that, the mother, identified as 28-year-old Shameka Taylor, phoned police.
"She asked if she would be arrested," Jewson said. Officers told her they wanted questions answered.
But by Monday morning, she still hadn't shown up, and police were searching for her.

Teacher 55, Picks Up Young Man in Bar, Turns Out to Be Student, 17 - Gerald DiPanfilo

Not the best way for a long time teache to be remembered: for going to a bar, allegedly picking up a young man there, taking him home and reportedly paying him for sex, only to find out the boy in question is only 17 and a student at the school. That's what allegedly happened with Gerald DiPanfilo, 55, a teacher at Seminole High School in Florida and now officials there would like to fire him because the think his effectiveness to teach "has been diminished." DiPanfilo, 55, was investigated in July after St. Petersburg police suspected him of having engaged a minor in prostitution, the school documents show. But after the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney's Office took a look at the case, prosecutors opted not to charge him.
The case was turned over to the Office of Professional Standards, which is the school system's internal affairs division, and DiPanfilo was assigned to the district warehouse during the probe.
According to a St. Petersburg police report, DiPanfilo admitted he met someone at a bar and the two took a cab to DiPanfilo's apartment in St. Petersburg, school documents say. DiPanfilo said that once they reached his apartment, he may have given money to the teen, and the police report goes on in some detail about the sex the two had, the school documents say.
Police identified the 17-year-old as a Pinellas School student, but there is no evidence showing they knew each other before they met at the bar, and DiPanfilo told authorities he had no idea the teen was a minor, school documents say.
The 17-year-old told authorities DiPanfilo gave him money for crack and for sex, school documents show. Though DiPanfilo told St. Petersburg police he may have given the teen money, when DiPanfilo was interviewed by the Office of Professional Standards he said he was unable to recount what happened July 17 because of the amount of alcohol he had consumed, school documents show.

Teacher Jill Lewis, 26, Allegedly Has Sex With Male Student, 17, According to Police Chief Wieners - Living Stones Christian School

Ah, sometimes the headlines just write themselves, don't they? How would you like to be the local reporter who has to call and ask for comments about a sex assault case from Friendswood, Texas, Police Chief Bob Wieners? Try and tell me you could do it with a straight face! Especially in this case where Jill Lewis, reportedly a teacher of journalism, speech and computers at Living Stones Christian School in the little town of Alvin, stands accused of having inappropriate relations with 17-year-old student along a lonely deserted road in December. How did the cops find out about that? Apparently someone called the local CrimeStoppers and reported the incident . . . which makes us think the young lovers were not as alone as they thought that night. Or the kid bragged about it to all his friends . . . one of the two.

Naughty Cops Caught on Tape With Young Woman in Mini Skirt - Elkhart, Indiana

It looks like the start of a "Girls Gone Wild" video with a scantily dressed young woman talking to some men who appear to want to see just a little more skin than she's already showing . . . which is a lot. Only, in this case, this happened in a Elkhart, Indiana police station and the men involved were cops. It all started early Thanksgiving morning when a woman with dark hair, a white shirt, and denim mini skirt and white boots entered the lobby of the Elkhart Police headquarters.
The entire episode was recorded by two separate surveillance cameras, although there was no audio. The woman in question was not under arrest. "She was just waiting on transportation I believe," said Assistant Chief Timothy Balyeat, "she resided in Chicago and was waiting on somebody to come pick her up."
At one point, one of the men working behind the front desk gives the woman a drink.
Not all the friendly gestures were so innocent. At about 4:04 a.m. the woman stepped into a room to the side of the front desk. Through an open door, the security camera shows body contact and inappropriate touching between the woman and at least one police worker. The images indicate that pictures are being taken, and at one point it appears the woman's skirt is pulled up to her waist.
Around 4:15 a.m. the woman climbs onto the counter at the front desk.
At least two of the three males behind the desk appear to take pictures with camera phones. One even walks out from behind the counter and enters the lobby so he can take a picture from behind. "Everybody played their little part. It was just wrong all the way around," said Balyeat.

Husband Turns in Donna Goebel, Teacher's Aide, for Sex With Underage Boy - Special Needs

The judge in this case must not know of the double standard involving female teachers and school sex scandals. Usually then get a slap on the wrist probation, but almost never any jail time . . . unless they are repeat offenders like Pamela Rogers. How did Donna Goebel get five years?

A judge has sentenced a 45-year-old former teacher's aide at a southern New Jersey school to five years in prison for sexually assaulting a male student.  Donna Goebel maintained her innocence during sentencing in court Monday. The 45-year-old Westampton resident expressed "extreme regrets" for what she called an "uncharacteristic situation."
The 16-year-old testified that the two had sex several times in early 2008. The judge said he had great difficulty painting Goebel as a predator because she was in an awful marriage.

Ex-teacher's aide sentenced for teen sex

EARLIER:  Wow! We cover a lot of these teacher sex scandals, but rarely do we have one where the husband of the alleged perpetrator turns her into cops. That's apparently what happened to 43-year-old Donna Goebel, a teacher's aide at a "special needs" school in Westampton, New Jersey. According to police, Goebel's husband found some pictures of the boy at the home he shared with his wife and THEIR two teenaged children, suspected something was fishy and made a report back on January 24. After about a two week investigation, Donna was arrested at their home on Thursday. Wonder if he told her he had gone the cops, or if he just kept quiet and waited for them to show up and arrest her? Either way, must have been an interesting two weeks at the Goebel house.

Goebel, charged with sexual assault, was being held in lieu of $75,000 bail at the county's minimum-security women's facility in Pemberton Township. Under terms of her bail, she cannot have contact with the student, said the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office.
The victim was identified only as a minor who attends the school where Goebel is employed. "None of the assaults occurred on school property," Prosecutor Robert Bernardi said in a statement.   Authorities said a man went to investigators Jan. 24 with suspicions about Goebel's behavior. That prompted an investigation by the prosecutor's office and the Burlington City police department.
Bernardi gave no other details about the case, including the victim's gender, "to maintain the anonymity of the victim and due to the nature of the charges." Goebel is to have an initial court appearance this afternoon in Superior Court in Mount Holly. If convicted, she faces between five and 10 years in state prison.

Basketball Coach Susan Jayne Anderson Accused of Sex With Female Player, 15 - Desert Edge High School

Arizona cops say that Susan Jayne Anderson carried on a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl she coached for several months, starting when the girl was only 15. Police say they have evidence that Anderson and the girl had daily, hourlong phone calls and had exchanged "thousands" of text messages since December. A probable cause statement filed Monday with the Estrella Mountain Justice Court shows Anderson told police she "chose and targeted" the victim because of the girl's low self-esteem.
According to the document:
• Police found phone records that showed the suspect and the victim were having daily, hourlong talks and had exchanged "thousands" of text messages since December. They were also communicating via the social networking Web site myspace.com
• The victim reported the suspect had taken her home after sporting events and practices, and that they had kissed up to four times on those occasions.
• The victim told police she had sexual contact with the suspect on Jan. 20 at the coach's home.
Anderson had coached for Goodyear's Desert Edge since January 2005 and passed a background check when she was hired, according to Eleanor Andersen, an Agua Fria Union High School spokeswoman.

Mom Arrested for DUI: Had Case of Beer Buckled, But Not Baby - Tina Williams

Ah, only February and the Mother of the Year competition is already heating up! This time, it's a woman stopped for erratic driving in St. Augustine, Florida on Super Bowl Sunday. When cops stopped her, the woman--who identified herself as Tina Williamns--told officers she didn't have a license and she was low on gas. At that point the observant cop noticed that not only did Ms. Williams' breath smell like alchohol, but that she had a case of beer neatly buckled in the passenger seat and her 1-year-old in back seat unrestrained. Yeah, even that will get a cop's attention. Oh, and she also had two silver metal pipes in her purse.
Williams will now face charges of driving under the influence, child endangerment, driving without a valid license, running a red light and not having a seatbelt or child restraint. (First Coast News)

Male Teacher, Lee Holmes, Accused of Sex With Teen, Wrecks Car After High Speed Chase Involving Girl's Angry Mother

Note to male middle school teachers: if you're having an inappropriate relationship with one of your 13-year-old students, it's probably not a good idea to drop her off at her front door after she run away earlier in the day--without permission--to have (alleged) sexual relations with you. If you do, the girl's mother might chase after your ass in her car and run you off the road.

Update: Teacher Rebecca Dawn Bogard Admits to Relations With Boy, 15, Calls Him Her Little "Sex Fiend"

Okay, this one is getting more interesting, now that our friends at TheSmokingGun.com have gotten involved! They now have the Biloxi Police Department report detailing Rebecca Dawn Bogard's admitted sexual liaisons with an underage male in her white Jaguar with the license plate "GRRRRR." The report goes into great detail about the relationship between the two, but seems to focus mostly on how his bosses at his part time job at a sandwich shop reacted to the relationship.

Apparently the kid rarely took breaks and was considered a good worker until Bogard started showing up in the parking lot and then he would excuse himself for lengthy periods of time. According to one of his bosses, he went looking for the kid one night and "located the juvenile standing in the doorway of Mrs. Bogard's driver's side door which was open. When they saw (name redacted), Mrs. Bogard, apparently pulled the door closed and drove off. When the juvenile got close to (name redacted), the juvenile was asked what was occurring and the juvenile gave the impression that Mrs. Bogard had performed oral sex on him."

In a text message to the boy that his mother found "Dawn" is reported to have said: "I love you, yeah it was the best, which night was the best 4 you, I'm sensitive but not sore, you were good..."

Bogard, who was also the 1996 Shrimp Bowl Queen, has to rank right up there with hot teachers gone bad along with Debra Lafave and Pamela Rogers, although no MySpace page or haunting sexy cell phone dance video of has showed up of her . . . yet.

Teacher Cathryn Bowland, 27, Resigns After Caught Holding Hands With Boy - Vista Ridge High School

"It" apparently happened on a school field trip. Cathryn Bowland, 27, a social studies teacher at Vista Ridge High School, was seen holding hands with a male freshman student. Oh, and also something about an inappropriate conversation that was overheard and ended with her saying "We shouldn't be talking about things like this." That's apparently all it takes anymore. Cathryn Bowland, 27, left Vista Ridge High School last Friday. She had been a teacher since August 2006.
District spokesman Dick Ellis says the incident happened during a school sponsored trip on Jan. 22. He says Bowland was seen by other students holding hands with a freshman student. One of the witnesses also reports hearing an inappropriate conversation between Bowland and the teenage boy.
Ellis said Bowland reportedly put an end to the conversation by saying something like "We shouldn't be talking about things like this."
Once an assistant principal was notified, an investigation began.

Pregnant Woman, 19, Arrested for DUI - Five Times Over Legal Limit! - Te Puke, New Zealand

A young New Zealand woman who is six months pregnant has been arrested for drunk driving and her blood alcohol level was five times the legal limit, 750 micrograms of alcohol per litre of breath. In US terms that would be about .40% BAC, a point at which most people are unconcious . . . and many are already dead from alcohol poisoning. Why was the 19-year-old Kiwi from the small town of Te Puke driving when she had three friends in the car? She claimed she was the least drunk of the group! Still three months away from giving birth and she already is in the lead for the 2008 Mother of the Year! Stuff)

Teacher Sharon Suzonne Oleson Accused of Having Sexual Contact w. Male Student, 18 - Dutchtown High School

Sharon Suzonne Oleson, 41, used to teach English at Dutchtown High School in Ascension Parish in Louisianna, resigned her job back on January 17, about the time cops started questioning her about alleged sexual contact with an 18-year-old male student. According to the cops, Oleson and the victim “kissed intimately” five or more times and that fondling occurred. The alleged relationship reportedly came to light when the ex-husband of the boy's mother saw the teacher and the lad in a bar together. The other thing we noticed is that Ms. Oleson bears a striking resemblence to former Saturday Night Livem performer Victoria Jackson (pictured right). Chief Deputy Tony Bacala said Sharon Suzonne Oleson, 41, 43087 Lighthouse Lane, Prairieville, was booked at the Ascension Parish Prison with the crime of prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and student. He said Oleson’s bond would be set at $10,000.
The recently enacted misdemeanor law went into effect in August. The law forbids public and private school teachers from having any sexual relations with students between 17 and 19 years of age. Sexual relations, defined by the law, include intercourse, lewd and lascivious acts and sexual touching. Bacala said the victim in the case told detectives Friday that the teacher touched him sexually.
Bacala also said the warrant for the former teacher’s arrest states the victim and Oleson shared at least one text message of a sexual nature.
Balfantz said the victim’s mother called Dutchtown High School Principal David Alexander and told him she suspected her son was having an affair with one of the teachers at Dutchtown High.
After Alexander confronted the teacher with the allegations of misconduct, Oleson resigned a few days later on Jan. 17, Balfantz said.
The victim’s mother also called the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office to report her suspicion that her son was having an affair with the teacher, Bacala said.
According to a Sheriff’s Office incident report on the case, the boy’s mother gave Principal Alexander some notes exchanged between her son and the teacher.

Sarah Elizabeth Joel, 31, Arrested for Sexual Relations With Underage Former Student - Narcoossee Community School

Well, first Sarah Elizabeth Joel told cops she didn't have sex with a former male student, 15. But then, yeah, apparently she did over Christmas break (Holidays don't count for statutory rape, right?) when the former student was now all of 16. Apparently that was enough for Osceola County, Florida cops to arrest Joel on three counts of lewd and lascivious battery, a second-degree felony. Deputies began investigating Narcoossee Community School Sarah Elizabeth Joel, 31, Friday morning, after a Harmony High School teacher told deputies that one of her students was suspected of having sex with his former teacher, according to a sheriff's charging affidavit.

During a tape-recorded interview, the student told an investigator that he and Joel stayed in touch after last school year and he became a friend of her family, the report states. When he called Joel to talk about his problems, Joel would pick him up and take him to her home.
"One thing led to another," the teen told investigators. He said the encounters took place at Joel's St. Cloud home during September, when he was 15.

Joel first told deputies during a sworn interview that they did not have sex, but later admitted to two encounters during Christmas break, when the former student was 16. She was arrested at school district headquarters in Kissimmee.

Loni M. Folks, Fifth Grade Teacher, Arrested for Sex With Boy, 16 - W.L. Smith Elementary

Not many details on this story yet, except the fact that Mrs. Folks is a hot redhead for a change! Usually the female teachers we report on here who are sexing up underage boys (allegedly) are either hot blonds, hot brunettes, or neither of the above . . . if you know what we mean.

So far, we do know that Loni, aged 24, was a 5th grade teacher at W.L. Smith Elementary and was arrested by Petal, Mississippi police officers on a charge of sexual battery. Her crime? Allegedly sexually assaulting a 16-year-old male student. Hopefully the 16-year-old was not in her class, or what we have heard about Mississippi is true. Folks posted her $30,000 bond and was released back into the wild. Some reports are saying she is married, others (like her MySpace page) says she's single with two kids. Whatever. The "want" vs. "do not want" debate starts below.

Parkland High School Cell Phone Porn Scandal Grows: Now Three Naked Girls Seen in Pictures

Remember the good old days when all you had to worry about was walking in on your teenagers having sex? Now you might find a picture of them on your cell phone . . . or the mobile phone of that creepy neighbor kid nobody likes. That's unfortunately the problem for parents at Parkland High School in Allentown, PA where cops are trying herd cats (metaphorically speaking) by trying to get every student at the school who were sent x-rated pictures of some of their classmates (a girl performing a sex act on a boy, and two other girls topless, exposing their breasts) to come in to the police station and show them that any images have been deleted from their cell phones. You see, the girls involved took the pictures and initially sent them to one friend, who sent them to another friend . . . and you know the rest. Unfortunately, because two of the girls identified by the cops are 14 and 17, they are minors and that makes them kiddie pron. We'll see how well this goes. Authorities said Friday that three girls appeared in sexually explicit cell phone images that were forwarded to many students at a suburban high school--one more than originally reported.
Prosecutors said that two girls appearing in the images have been identified as Parkland High School students. Contrary to an initial report, they said another girl seen having sex with a boy in a video had not been identified and they are unsure what school she attends. The boy also remains unidentified.
The two Parkland students shown exposing themselves are 14 and 17, said Matthew S. Falk, Lehigh County's chief deputy district attorney. Both girls took the pictures of themselves.
"They transferred the photographs to someone else at school," Falk said. "What I don't think they anticipated was the widespread dissemination of those pictures."
County prosecutors contacted about 40 students and their parents, asking that the students to come forward and show that the images had been deleted from their cell phones. They gave them until Tuesday to meet with a trooper at the high school. About 15 students turned over their phones for inspection on Thursday.
Because the girls are underage, anyone who holds onto the images could face charges of possessing child pornography, prosecutors said.
Students at the suburban Allentown school have said the images were widely transmitted starting about two months ago and reached far more than the 40 students authorities contacted. Prosecutors said they realize they would not be able to ensure all the pictures are deleted.

Beth "Hockey Mom" Modica Update: Former Attorney Faces 35 Charges Over Team Parties Involving Booze, Pot & Sex

It's the scandal that's rocking upstate New York: Beth Modica, 44, pleaded not guilty this week to a staggering 35 charges, including those claiming she had sexual intercourse or oral sex with two teenaged boys, served them alcohol and smoked marijuana with them at so-called "team parties" last summer. Despite a DA request to set the bail at $25,000, the judge upped it to $75K, prompting Modica's defense lawyer to say, "Your honor. The DA recommended bail at $25,000." To which Judge Catherine Bartlett responded, "I heard it. These are serious charges involving children in her community." Smack down! Apparently, Modica's lawyer, thinking because she was the wife of the local sheriff, asked that his client be released without bail. Not even close, pal! Among the charges are five felonies: one count of third-degree rape, which is statuatory rape; and four counts of third-degree criminal sexual act, involving accusations of oral sex, and 30 misdemeanor charges: four counts of third-degree sexual abuse and 26 counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Teacher Keri Ann Brekne Arrested for Sex With Female Student, 14 - Lopatcong Township Middle School

The female teachers have been busy so far in 2008 and this appears to be our first "girl-on-girl" case of the year. Keri Ann Brekne, 28, a 7th grade social studies teacher at Lopatcong Township Middle School is accused of having sex with the then 14-year-old student in the teacher's home in Pennsylvania and the girl's home in Lopatcong . . . which must be in New Jersey? A Warren County teacher has been charged in two states with having sex with an underage girl, authorities said today.
Keri Ann Brekne, 28, of Bethlehem, Pa., a seventh grade teacher at Lopatcong Township Middle School, is accused of having sex with the then 14-year-old student in the teacher's home in Pennsylvania and the girl's home in Lopatcong, authorities said.
In an affidavit of probable cause, Bethlehem Police Officer Thomas Galloway said the girl told him she and the teacher had sexual relations between the Fourth of July and Wednesday at the teacher's home.
"The victim was transported by the defendant from her home in NJ to the defendant's home," Galloway wrote.
Brekne was charged in Pennsylvania with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors, and sent to Northampton County Prison in Easton in lieu of $75,000 bail. Today, her bail in Warren County was set at $150,000.

Teacher Brian Avery Accused of Zapping Love Rival With Taser

Yikes! This article doesn't say WHERE Brian Avery, 47, of Ramsgate, Kent, in the United Kingdom, tasered another man (who was the husband of one of his female students that he was having an affair with) but we hope it's not where we think. Here's more from The Daily Express:

A TEACHER having an affair with a married ­student has been arrested after allegedly tying up her husband and torturing him with a stun gun.
Brian Avery, 47, is accused of bundling his love rival at gunpoint into an underground garage before tying him to a chair and repeatedly pistol-whipping him.
He is then said to have shot him with a Taser gun, police sources said yesterday.
The attack only ended when a car pulled into the garage and the victim raised the alarm.
Avery then zapped him with the Taser and pistol-whipped him again before fleeing.
The teacher was later arrested as he left his nearby home. Inside officers found several stun guns.
Avery, of Ramsgate, Kent, was arrested in Italy after the attack in Camerlata near Como, where he has lived for three years offering private English lessons.
The 40-year-old victim is the husband of Hx Ling, 41, a Chinese student Avery had been tutoring for one year.

Rebecca Bogard, Teacher and Former Shrimp Bowl Queen, Accused of Sex With Boy, 15

Rebecca Bogard, 27, isn't just any aging female teacher having sex (allegedly) with an underage boy. She was the 1996 Shrimp Bowl Queen, which might have helped her attack the attention of a younger man, and now appears to have gotten her in trouble with the law and lost her her job. A Biloxi teacher charged with sexual battery has been suspended with pay until further notice, district officials said Wednesday.
Superintendent Paul Tisdale said he met with the personnel director and the board's attorney on Tuesday and they made the decision regarding Rebecca Bogard, a 27-year-old teacher at the alternative school.
Bogard also cannot go onto any school campus unless she has permission from Tisdale or the personnel director.
The sexual battery charge involves an alleged incident that did not occur on the school campus, police said.
The arrest Friday of Bogard, a former Biloxi High student leader and Shrimp Bowl queen, involves a 15-year-old male student, said Capt. John Miller of the Biloxi Police Department.

Hockey Mom Allegedly Throws Booze & Bong Pool Parties for Team, Had Sex With Boys - Beth Modica, 44

There are good hockey moms and GREAT hockey moms and there's Beth Modica, 44, of Rockland County, New York. She allegedly went above and beyond the call of duty last summer, hosting several pool parties for her son's youth hockey team. Parties, that according to cops, may have included alcohol and pot and might have ended with some of the boys--as young as 16--having sex with Modica. (At right, the only picture we have been able to find of Beth Modica.) Did we mention that her husband is the Spring Valley police chief and that she's the local town attorney? Oops!

Beth Modica, 44, who allegedly threw wild pool parties in her Sloatsburg backyard, offering high-school students beer and marijuana, looked away and refused to answer questions outside a relative's home yesterday.
Sources said the married mother of four may have also engaged in sexual activity with teens as young as 16.
Modica will be arraigned Tuesday after an indictment is unsealed, according to a spokeswoman for the Rockland district attorney.
The spokeswoman wouldn't elaborate, but sources said Modica is being sent to the penalty box for alleged inappropriate behavior committed with teammates on her 16-year-old son's Suffern HS hockey squad.
Furious parents of teens on the team reacted angrily to those accusations yesterday, with one saying, “That is totally wrong. The hockey team is full of good kids."

Yeah, "good kids" who allegedly got drunk, stoned and had sex with the mother of one of their teammates.
