Teacher Fired for Being Part of Bikini Crew on Fishing Boats - Tiffany Shepherd, Port St. Lucie High School

Does the State of Florida pay its teachers enough? Apparently not, since Tiffany Shepherd, a biology teacher at Port St. Lucie High School had to find a second job to make ends meet and take care of her three kids. Unfortunately, that second job was as a bikini-clad mate on fishing tour boats for a company called Smokin' Em, and for some reason the school district didn't think that was appropriate. The 30-year-old blonde from Fort Pierce – who has a pre-medical degree - performs the usual duties of a ship's mate, but wears a bikini and fetches drinks and sandwiches for the men on board. She took the job three weeks ago to help support her three young sons following a divorce.
"I can make $600 [£300] in two days' fishing," she said. "That's a week's pay for me." Smokin' Em Charters, a Port St. Lucie-based company, has pictures of some of the bikini mates on its website - many of them partially nude - and says the only job requirement is to look "hot in a bikini".
Ms Shepherd, who said she does not go topless on the fishing boat, said she doesn't believe the job is inappropriate or at odds with her role as a teacher to high school students. "You don't wear jeans or slacks to go fishing," she said. "I wasn't doing anything wrong."
Officials said suggestive photos of Ms Shepherd on the Smokin' Em website could have posed a problem because they could undermine her effectiveness.

Texas Man Arrested for Trying to Cash Check for $360 Billion - Charles Ray Fuller

Most big city banks see customers come in with large checks all the time. A million dollars? No big deal, right? But when a scruffy looking young man shows up at your window with a check for $360 BILLION dollars (yes, with a B) that's likely to raise a few eyebrows, even in Texas. Here's more from the Star-Telegram:

An aspiring record label owner is singing the blues after he was arrested last week for allegedly trying to pass a $360 billion check at a Fort Worth bank.
Employees at the Chase Bank at 8601 S. Hulen St. grew suspicious after seeing all those zeroes (10 to be exact) and called the check's owner. The woman said the suspect, Charles Ray Fuller, 21, of Crowley, is her daughter’s boyfriend and that he did not have permission to take the check or cash it.
Fuller was arrested on suspicion of fraud, along with unlawfully carrying a weapon and possession of marijuana after officers found less than 2 ounces of the drug and a .25-caliber handgun and magazine in his pockets.
While inside a patrol car, police say Fuller blurted out that he is starting his own record label and had been given the money by his girlfriend’s mother to help him start it.

Teacher Donna Lou Sanders Drives Girls, 12 & 13, to Motel for Sex With Boys, Man: Also Drove While They Had Sex in Back Seat!

WTF? I mean, seriously, WTF is wrong with this lady? We would never go as far to say that a teacher has to turn in every kid in her class she suspects is having sex, but to actually DRIVE a couple of girls--aged 12 and 13--to a motel so they can have sex with teenaged boys and a 22-year-old man they met online? Wow, that really puts her in front for Dumbass of the Year, don't you think? And that's even before we tell you that the police affidavit also says one of the girls was Donna Lou Sanders own teenage daughter and that she also allegedly drove the kids around and let them to have sex in the back seat of the car while she was driving! But wait, there's more! Not only was Sanders a teacher at Magnolia Junior High School, her husband, Terry Sanders is the assistant principal at Magnolia High School. He claims to know nothing about the incidents, but you can bet there will be some interesting conversations a the Sanders house this week.

In all my years, I've seen some horrible cases, but this one is the worst. It's truly bizarre." Prosecuting Attorney David Butler says this case has stunned the small city of Magnolia and its junior High school. Well known teacher Donna Lou Sanders, a wife and mother, has been arrested in connection with six months of sexual activity involving 12 and 13 year old girls. But police say it doesn't appear Sanders was sexually involved in any of the cases.
According to the affidavit, Sanders would drive the 12 and 13 year old girls to either a hotel or deer camp and provide rooms for them to have sex with two underage boys and a 22 year old man they met on line through Facebook.
The affidavit goes on to say that Sanders sometimes just drove the teens around and permitted them to have sex in the back seat of the car as she drove.
The affidavit also says one of the girls was Donna Lou Sanders own teenage daughter. Authorities say as far as they can determine, Sanders husband was not aware any of this was going on.

Female Teacher Arrested for Third Time for Sex With Students, Was Caught in the Act While Out on Bail! Stephanie Ragusa, Martinez Middle School

Is the third time a charm? Could be for cops who have previously arrested teacher Stephanie Ragusa twice in the past couple of months for sex with different underage boys. Apparently she can't stay away from the young ones as just this week, while she was out on bail after her second arrest for having sex with an underage boy, Ragusa was CAUGHT IN THE ACT having sex again with one of the original victims! After this arrest, she's being held without bond. On the plus side, at right is probably the best picture we have seen of Ms. Ragusa.

A Hillsborough County teacher who has been arrested twice on charges of having sex with underage students has been arrested for a third time.
Sources say 28-year-old Stephanie Ragusa was caught in the act Monday with one of the victims she was originally charged with having sex with.
The 15-year-old boy reportedly did not show up for school Monday, and when police went to check on him, they found him with Ragusa.
She was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail late Monday afternoon.
Lt. Lt. Fred Asteasuainzarra, with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, said Ragusa faces two new charges: one of unlawful sex with a certain minor that stems from today's arrest; and another charge of unlawful sex with a certain minor, stemming from an incident on April 5.
"I can assure you that we are doing everything we can right now to make sure that she is not out at liberty to do this again," Asteasuainzarra said. Asteasuainzarra also said Ragusa is not talking to investigators. Reports indicate she was arrested today at the home of her second victim.

Female Teacher Franca Munoz-Juvera Pleads Guilty to Affair With Girl, 16 - Lakeside High School

Not only did this teacher have an affair with an underage girl, her twin sister and another roommate helped . . . and not it looks like all of them are going to jail where they will be incarcerated with a bunch of other women in close quarters. That's punishment? Here's more on the case in the Press Enterprise against former math teacher Franca Munoz-Juvera. (At right, her mug shot picture)

Franca Munoz-Juvera, 27, who taught math at Lakeside High School until June, pleaded guilty to a single count of lewd acts with a minor for having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student between October and November 2006.
According to Riverside County court records, Munoz-Juvera told authorities that she loves the girl but knew it was inappropriate to have a sexual relationship with her student.
The student told investigators that they kissed while in a Lakeside High School classroom during school hours and had sexual contact with each other, according to court records.
Antonia Munoz-Juvera and Valerio helped arrange for the student to spend the night with Franca Munoz-Juvera, according to court records.
They drove the student from her home in Riverside County to their Rancho Cucamonga apartment, and coached the girl on ways of deceiving her parents, the records show.
The case began to unfold when the student's father found inappropriate e-mail messages between his daughter and Franca Munoz-Juvera in September 2006, according to court records filed in support of an arrest warrant.
