MOTORISTS had to swerve to avoid a man asleep at the controls of a motorised wheelchair on a north Queensland highway.
Police who breath-tested him allegedly found him to be six times the legal blood alcohol limit. Police found the 64-year-old man asleep in his wheelchair in a turning lane on the Captain Cook Highway at Stratford north of Cairns on Friday morning.
Passing police noticed him slumped in the wheelchair and stopped to help. They breathalysed him when they smelt alcohol on him. He allegedly blew .301, more than six times the legal limit.
He told police he was going 14km to Trinity Beach to visit a friend, most of it on the four-lane highway.

Drunk Man Drove Home Without Front Tire - With Picture

People in West Yarmouth, MA called police claiming their heard a strange sound going past their homes about 1:40 a.m last Saturday. It sounded like metal grinding, and when cops investigated, they found several roads with a gouge in them. So, they followed the gouge marks and found the car of William Fenton, 52, who drove his 2000 Cadillac Seville along about half dozen local roads . . . without a front tire! Officers tracked the scarred streets, following gouges along South Sea Avenue, Exeter Road, Crowell Road, Silverleaf Lane, Lorena Road and Lewis Road.
They found Fenton's Cadillac in his driveway at 131 Lewis Road, Hennessey said. Fenton appeared to be asleep behind the wheel, his shirt wet, the car still running. There was no tire on the right front wheel and the rim was "pretty chewed up," Hennessey said.
Officers knocked on the window, asking Fenton to open the door. He lifted his eyelids, smiled, and turned away, Hennessey said.
Fenton fumbled to turn off the car and was unable to unlock the doors. Eventually, he rolled down the window so officers could unlock the car, the Yarmouth police sergeant said. A Bud Light beer can was in the center console, and others were on the passenger floor, he said.

Teacher Julie Pritchett Accused of Sex With 8 High School Baseball Players - Clay-Chalkville Middle School

Let's see if we can wrap our heads around this one boys and girls: Trussville is a small town of about 13,000 people in Alabama. The local high school there has a baseball team and the young ladies who support the team during games and act as hostesses of some kind are called Diamond Dolls. And, of course, like any student group, the Dolls need a faculty sponsor who, in this case, is one Julie Pritchett, a married 34-year-old who is a middle school special ed teacher. In her role as sponsor--and sponsor of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club--she came in contact with some former students and current members of the HS baseball team. And make contact she allegedly did! According to cops, Pritchett started a sexual relationship with one 15-year-old former student, then when he bragged to the other players, several of them approached her and the game was on . . . literally! According to at least one report, these hook-ups took place at the the homes of the victims, at the school, and--wait for it--during the sporting events (we're assuming this means baseball games.) Unfortunately, the normally forward-looking state of Alabama does not have a "persons in authority" law, so Pritchett will only be charged for having sex with a couple of the boys under 16. Still, she was charged with two counts of sodomy and one count of sexual abuse and could face 20 years in prison if convicted. Here's more from the World Net Daily:

The sheriff's department released a statement saying, "Phone records were subpoenaed and support the statements of the victims and witnesses. When the news media reported that a teacher was under investigation, Julie Pritchett changed her phone number, shut down her MySpace account and resigned from her teaching position where she was a tenured teacher."
A parent called the sheriff's department May 2 and complained that his son was being sexually abused by a teacher. Jefferson County school board lawyer Burgin Kent said the board placed Pritchett on leave, began its own investigation and notified authorities following reports of the abuse.
"It was an unfortunate situation," Kent said.
Pritchett sponsored hostesses for the Clay-Chalkville High School baseball team, called the Diamond Dolls. While she held the position, she became reacquainted with some of her former students who were active in the sports program. Christian said Pritchett then began having sex with a 15-year-old boy, and later had sex with at least seven of his friends. All of the incidents were initiated by the former teacher and several happened on school grounds. Other sex acts took place at victims' homes.

Dude! Teacher Busted for Being Drunk in Public, Matthew Todd Johnson

According to cops, Matthew Todd Johnson, a composition literature and journalism teacher at Newport Harbor High School was arrested for being drunk in public. Johnson was reportedly at Javier's Cantina & Grill in Crystal Cove around 11 p.m last Friday night when workers at the restaurant asked him to leave for "being belligerent and using profanities." When officers arrived they found him staggering and with slurred speech, and yelling profanities and trying to get into a confrontation with some people. (OC Register)

Missing Camera Leads to Brawl at Wedding Reception, Two Stabbed

According to witnesses, at least 100 guest and 30 cops were involved in a brawl in the Town of Newburgh, New York . . . at a wedding reception! Details aren't real clear (anyone think alcohol may have been involved?) but apparently someone couldn't find a camera, which started on scuffle. Before the pushing and shoving was over, 100 family members and friends (bride or groom?) were duking it out and police had to be called from several nearby towns to break it up and then took nearly two hours for cops to restore order.
Before it was all over, one woman had been stabbed in the leg and a man — the wedding reception's disc jockey — was stabbed in the back of the neck! In all, six people were charged with disorderly conduct, a violation; and one with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. According to the police, there will be no further investigation because no one at the scene was willing to cooperate with police. (Record Online)

Model/actress Delicia Cordon was arrested early Friday Morning, June 13, 2008 in Norfolk, Virginia with former Virginia Tech star and Miami Dolphins cast off Marcus Vick, younger brother of now imprisoned--but former Atlanta Falcons quarterback--Michael Vick, for public drunkenness. Actually Vick was arrested for DUI and Cordon just happened to be drunk in the car with him.
As a result of the ensuing police chase, Vick has also been charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, reckless driving, eluding police and driving on a suspended license.
The incident allegedly started when a cop on a bicycle spotted the pair in the 200 block on Granby Street, having an apparent altercation. When the officer approached the car and asked Marcus for ID, Vick--naturally--did not comply (It's a cop on a bike for Christ's sake!)and drove away at a high rate of speed. Of course the cop, even though he was on a bike, still had a radio and sent out a description of the vehicle, which was pulled over with Vick and Cordon in inside a few minutes later. (Newsday)
A little web search shows that Delicia Cordon is not just any drunk former football star's girlfriend: she is an aspiring actress, rap video babe, and model. An example of some of her work is at right. Nice.

(It also takes a long time to load.) Once there is says "Delicia Cordon: The People Choice." No, that's not a typo on my part: people singular. Okay. Inside you'll find her resume which includes calendars (Miss August, 2008 Smooth Calendar), commercials (Axe), videos (Jagged Edge "Stunnas") and even a couple of movies (Days of Wrath). The site also has a small picture gallery with most of the shots of her in lingerie or bikinis and she does appear to be, uh, a healthy young woman. No anorexia here. And, not sure if that is her singing or not, but there is a loud music bed for the site as well.
You can also find some glamor shots of Delicia Cordon at LazyGirls.info (slightly not safe for work), HipHopVideoModels.com that boasts that "Ms. Cordon is of Italian and Black descent" and claims she was in a Lifetime movie called "Ladies Night Out." She was also selected as a MySpace Hottie of the Day, and in that post it says that, "Delicia describes herself as a "go getter" who isn't afraid to hustle to get to the top. On the negative side a web site called RipOffReport.com claims that in March of 2008 a Delicia Cordon (also from the Miami area) wrote $4500 in bad checks to cover three months worth of rent to some guy named Larry who eventually went to court, got a judgement against her and still had to call the cops to pry her out of the apartment. According to old Lar, "Cordon presented herself as a famous 'actress/ model' and presents herself as a very naive and sweet individual always very apologetic. The eviction came after 'Final Judgment for Removal of Tenant' was entered by Judge Darrin P. Gayles on January 27, 2007 in Miami, Florida for non payment of rent. Court Case # 08-1667 cc 34 (01). The judge gave Cordon the final opportunity to pay all the past due rent and she failed to pay the rent to the judge (three months total rent of $4,500). She was then served by the Sheriff and given 24 hour to leave the premises and when she failed to vacate the condo, she was evicted by the Sheriff few days later. Shame that such a 'highly paid model and actress' can't afford to pay a single cent in rent for the premises she occupied for three months until she was evicted by the police and Sheriff." A driver for Mr. Ding-A-Ling, an ice cream distributor, has been arrested for having sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl that he met on MySpace.
William Schenmeyer, 21, of East Greenbush whose ice cream route was in Rensselaer County, has been charged with second degree rape, sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. Police said that he had sexual contact with the girl on at least two occasions.

Moms Arrested for Sex Party With Teenaged Boys During Sleepover - Angela Honeycutt, 38, and Lynne Long, 45

Is finding and seducing teenaged boys getting so difficult that MILFs have to hunt in packs now? Once there, Honeycutt, a mother of two young children, allegedly had sex with at least one lucky 14-year-old and performed sex acts on a 15-year-old. Although not directly involved in the action, MS. Long allegedly watched, listened and then instructed the teens not to say anything. That's messed up! And we think more tawdry details will emerge over the next few days. According to our friends at TheSmokingGun.com, Long's son hosted the sleepover for several of his male friends. Honeycutt, who has worked as a babysitter for Long's younger children, allegedly stripped, danced suggestively, and had sexually explicit conversations with the boys. The affidavits charge that Honeycutt also had sex in the shower with one 15-year-old partygoer and then had sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy. In addition to the alleged sexual assault, detectives said Honeycutt exposed her breasts to the teens; open-mouth kissed some of the minors, entered a shower with a juvenile and engaged conversation of a sexual nature.
"What is so particularly outrageous about this is the violation of trust," said Lower Makefield Twp. Police Chief Ken Coluzzi. Authorities learned of the alleged sexual sleepover when one of the boys involved told his parents, who then went police.
Honeycutt is facing charges of statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and other related charges. Long is facing charges of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.

Shia LaBeouf Gets Slapped by Friend, Uses Derogatory Term for Gays

In this clip, actor Shia LaBeouf, most recently seen in Indiana Jones 4 (Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) is seen with his friends and appears to be drunk, asking to be slapped. When the friend initially refuses, LaBeouf calls him a "faggot." According to the actor's publicist.... "The videotape that is currently being circulated is several years old and captures Shia playing a game among friends in which he uses a derogatory word toward a friend. Angela Leavitt, Married Mother of Two on the Run With Boy, 16, Turns Herself In

No, she's not a teacher, but Angela Leavitt sure is acting like one. According to police, last week Leavitt and her 16-year-old male co-worker at Whataburger in Pace, Florida ran off together. Oh, and took her kids, 8 and 9, with them, which apparently didn't make her husband or the boy's parents very happy. This, after the kid's parents had to file a restraining order against the allegedly horny Leavitt who was reportedly caught not once, but twice, in her Dodge Durango in past months before the boy's parents filed a restraining order.
Fortunately, Leavitt and the kids arrived safely back at the Pensacola airport on Tuesday and she was promptly arrested. At right, Angela Leavitt's mug shot picture.

Leavitt has been wanted since last week, when lawmen said she quit her job at the Whataburger in Pace and ran off with her teenaged co-worker and lover. She also took her two children, 8-year-old Haley and 9-year-old Damien. On Tuesday, she told officers she was preparing to turn herself in at the jail.

Leavitt's husband, Greg Leavitt of Chuckwagon Lane, had been pleading publicly for her to come back to Florida for the children's sake and face authorities.

He told reporters last week that he gave her the children last Tuesday night not knowing that she'd take them and leave with the 16-year-old boy. He did say he knew something about the boy.

Investigators say a Crime Stoppers tip led them to Pensacola Regional Airport, where a connecting flight from Atlanta was said to be carrying Leavitt and the children.

The plane landed sometime before 1 p.m., after airport police were told to watch for Leavitt. When they spotted her at the baggage claim, her attorney was with her, said Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Haines.

Airport police made the initial arrest and took Leavitt to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office before her transfer to Santa Rosa.

The children have been released to Greg Leavitt's custody.

The 16-year-old, who hasn't been identified, came home Monday after calling investigators and taking a Greyhound bus from Texas to Pensacola. He was returned to his parents in good health, lawmen said.

Evidence in the case includes sex-related text messages between Leavitt and the teen. Based on the messages, they say Leavitt wanted to have the boy's baby.

Deputies said they found Leavitt and the boy together in her Dodge Durango twice in past months before the boy's parents filed a restraining order. Their petition claimed the relationship had been sexual for months.

Investigators believe the pair had sex at least three times before the Sheriff's Office issued Leavitt's arrest warrant.

She left town when she knew her arrest was imminent, Haines has said.

Substitute Teacher Sarah Jayne Bridges Bucking for Full Time Job, Accused of Sex With Male Student

According to Oregon police, that's what happened with substitute teacher Sarah Jayne Bridges, 24, who stands accused of having sex with a middle school student. A Eugene teacher accused of having sex with a middle school student is out on bail today. Friday night, 24-year-old Sarah Jayne Bridges was arrested after she allegedly engaged in sexual activity with a male student.
Bridges -- a substitute teacher who taught at high schools and middle schools around the district -- was charged with rape, sodomy and sexual abuse. The charges stem from an incident police said happened in March, but only came to light this week when a district employee filed a report with the administration.
"The 4J School District received an allegation late Thursday night from an employee, alleging inappropriate sexual contact between a middle school substitute teacher and a student," Eugene Police Detective Dan Braziel said.
Braziel said the alleged activity occured off-campus.
"We conducted interviews most of the day [Friday] at several schools as well as several off-campus sites," he said. "During the course of those interviews, enough information was developed to arrest the teacher in the case."
Braziel could not say if the contact was consensual or if it happened more than once. He said police have no specific information indicating any other students were involved with Bridges.

Teacher Danielle Lynnette Jones Arrested for Allegedly Having Sex With Two Former Male Students AND Their Cousins - Stambaugh Middle School

If it's Monday, it must be time for another female teacher sex scandal, and once again the fine state of Florida is leading the way. This time a middle school teacher, Danielle Lynnette Jones, 32 is accused of having improper relations with several male students AND their cousins. Why are the cousins so important? Calling herself their “momma,” a Polk County middle school teacher is accused of having sex with two former male students and their cousins.

Danielle Lynnette Jones, 32, of Auburndale was arrested by Polk County Sheriff's special victims detectives at 7 a.m. Thursday. A Stambaugh Middle School science teacher, Jones had taught two of the boys who are brothers. One of them told authorities they had sexual relations with her.

The incidents occurred between June and August of 2007, investigators said, when the boys were between 14 and 16. Jones allegedly picked up the teens at different locations, drove them to her apartment, and had sex with them several times, according to the affidavit.

One of the brothers, who was then 14, contacted Jones on her MySpace page on the Internet last summer. He had been a student of hers during the 2005-06 school year.

“Hey baby,” Jones replied back, according to the affidavit. “I just miss my boys. Y'all need to come see you [sic] momma soon!”

The boy wrote back, “If we can you gonna pic us up?”

She replied, “Of course I will. Anything to see my boys that I haven't seen for months.”

Detective Shawn Hoobin recovered more than 50 pages of MySpace postings dated between June 22 and Aug. 25, 2007.

The boy asked for her phone number, which she provided. She also told him several times that she loved him. The affidavit details their meetings at her apartment, and descriptions of the apartment which matched what detectives found during their search.

Sheriff Grady Judd, in a news conference Thursday, said that there were at least five sexual encounters between Jones and the four boys. Jones asked them to come over, give her massages, and offered to pick them up at different locations in Winter Haven.

Judd said Jones had been divorced recently and had no children.

Jailed Teacher Stephanie Ragusa Sends Letter to Hulk Hogan's Son Nick Bollea

She just can't give up on them young boys, apparently. Stephanie Ragusa (Pictured at right in all three of her mug shots), a former high school teacher accused of having sex with several underage male students, apparently is reaching out to another person behind bars: the jailed son of Hulk Hogan! While one inmate writing another is not unusual, the fact that Ragusa is in jail for allegedly having sex with underage boys and Hulk's son, Nick Bollea, is only 17 has raised some eyebrows. Ragusa, who is also in jail, sent the letter June 2 to 17-year-old Nick Bollea, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
The letter was intercepted by Pinellas County sheriff's deputies after they recognized Ragusa's name, the jail's return address and her docket number on the envelope, authorities said. Bollea, who is serving an eight-month sentence on a charge of reckless driving with serious bodily injury, was later given a copy of the letter.
Ragusa, 29, is facing charges of lewd or lascivious battery and unlawful sexual activity with a minor. The telephone at the office of Ragusa's attorney rang unanswered Saturday.

Boy Claims He and Hot Blonde Teacher Had Sex 100 Times! Christine Brown Jouini, Center Academy in Coral Springs

Meet Christine Brown Jouini a 38-year-old married teacher at the private Center Academy in Coral Springs. So far, only one underage victim has come forward, but according to the 16-year-old victim, this wasn't a one time "let's do it in the back of my van" kinda thing.
No, according to Margate, Florida police, the male student claims he and Jouini had sex more than 100 times between June 2006 and September 2007. Oh, and it gets better. The boy also claims that he used to visit her apartment "almost every day for almost a year" sometimes staying overnight WHEN HER HUSBAND WASN'T HOME, and that Jouini frequently introduced the boy to neighbors as her brother.

A Lauderhill woman who taught 11th and 12th graders at a private Coral Springs school was arrested Friday after police learned she had been involved in a sexual relationship with a teenage male student for more than a year, authorities said.
Christine Brown Jouini, 38, a teacher at the Center Academy in Coral Springs, is accused of repeatedly having sex with the student at her former apartment in Margate and other locations off campus between June 2006 and September 2007, police said.
Jouini, who faces three counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, is being held in the Broward County Jail without bond.
"It was consensual," said Margate police spokesman Chip Kolenda. "It wasn't until our detectives spoke to him that he admitted to the relationship. He never actually came forward."
Jouini turned herself in to Margate police on Friday without incident, Kolenda said.

Physics Teacher Mary C. Steck Arrested for Buying Heroin During Lunch Period, Returns to School

Is that dedication or stupidity? According to cops, Mary C. Steck, a physics teacher at Pittsburgh Perry High School left the school during the day and was caught in a drug buying sting. After being charged, she then returned to school as if nothing happened to teacher her classes . . . without the heroin, apparently. Wonder if that took the edge off her teaching style? Eventually the cops, realizing Steck was a teacher, notified the school. Here's more from the Post-Gazette:

Mary C. Steck, 51, of the North Side, a Perry teacher for about 12 years, was charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Police who pulled over her sport utility vehicle said they found a syringe protruding from her purse and two "stamp bags" of suspected drugs inside.
The Pittsburgh Public Schools suspended Ms. Steck with pay and took a drug-sniffing dog through her classroom, but no drugs were found there, district spokeswoman Ebony Pugh said. Ms. Steck's salary is about $72,000, representing top-scale pay for a city teacher with a bachelor's degree.
A passenger in the SUV, Roger A. Bushell, 45, who shares a Baytree Street address with Ms. Steck, was charged with possession of suspected crack cocaine. Mr. Bushell is not a school district employee.
In an affidavit, city Detective Michael Molitaris gave this account:
Police had the 2300 block of Atmore Street on the North Side under surveillance Wednesday, after a resident complained that young men posing as candy sellers were peddling drugs instead. Ms. Steck drove to Atmore about 1:10 p.m., and Mr. Bushell got out and approached a male who had been observed loitering on the street. Mr. Bushell counted out money, handed it to the other person and accepted "small white objects" in return. The SUV drove away. Detective Molitaris radioed to other detectives, who stopped Ms. Steck's vehicle in the 800 block of Marshall Avenue.
One detective asked Ms. Steck to step out of the vehicle, noticed the syringe and asked whether she had other needles in the purse. "No, just stamp bags," she replied, pointing at a paper towel folded inside the purse. The bags of suspected heroin were marked "Blade."
Mr. Bushell dropped a small plastic bowl as he got out of the SUV. It contained suspected crack cocaine. Police did not take the pair into custody, and Ms. Steck returned to Perry, on the North Side, to finish the school day. Ms. Steck had told the detectives that she was a teacher, however, and police notified the school district.
School officials summoned Ms. Steck to the office with about five minutes left in the day, ordered her to leave and told her not to return yesterday, Ms. Pugh said.

Teacher Janmattie Singh Accused of Having Sex With Male Student, 15, AND His Two 18-Year-Old Cousins - Richmond Hill High

A Queens, New York, high school teacher is in trouble with the law after allegedly having sex with not one, but THREE young males, a 15-year-old males student and--according to reports--his twin 18-year-old cousins. Now THAT'S being thorough! At right, the mug shot picture of teacher Janmattie Singh, 22. Here's more from NY1:

A Queens high school teacher was arrested today on charges of statutory rape, after officials say she had sex with a teenaged student.
Special Commissioner of Investigation Richard Condon says Janmattie Singh, 22, is also facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child. Singh is an English teacher at Richmond Hill High School. Investigators say she had sex with a 15-year-old male student, and two of his family members.
Officials say the encounter took place off school grounds -- at a location in Brooklyn. The Department of Education says Singh has been on medical leave since November, and that her name has now been placed on the ineligible list -- meaning she can never work for the city again.

Teacher Alex Diaz, 37, Caught in Back Seat of Car With Girl, 17 - Bell High School

The old "I can't afford a motel room on a teacher's salary" ploy. Or maybe they just couldn't wait through that lengthy registration process they make you go through anymore. Either way, Bell High School (California) teacher Alex Diaz, 37, will likely NOT be around many underage girls in the future after he was caught in the back seat of a car in a parking lot with a female student. A Los Angeles Unified School District teacher has been arrested on suspicion of having sex with a female student who was underage at the time, sheriff's officials said today.
Alex Diaz, 37, a Bell High School teacher, was booked May 22 at the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department station in Carson on suspicion of having sex with a minor, authorities said. He was held in lieu of $20,000 bail before immediately posting bond.
The girl, who turned 18 this week, was 17 at the time of the alleged crime, said Steve Whitmore, spokesman for the Sheriff's Department.
About 10 p.m. on May 21, sheriff's deputies found Diaz and the girl in the back seat of a car in a parking lot in Carson, Whitmore said. He declined to give further details, except to confirm that Diaz, who was found with a Bell High staff identification card, was later arrested.

Bad Chaperone? Woman Arrested for Being Drunk on Field Trip - Banning High School

Why didn't we have field trips like this when I was in school. Oh yeah, I know, because the chaperones would have been arrested for getting themselves (and some of us) drunk on the ride home! Which, it appears, is exactly what happened to a busload of students from Banning High School in California. How did it happen? Well, it was the Spanish Club and apparently no one realized what a bad idea it would be to visit a tequila factory. (Just joking . . . we think.) On the bonus side, it appears that this is not the first time this school employee (she works in the attendance office, whatever that is) has previously been arrested for DUI and they still let her drive a bus load of kids somewhere. Wait, do you smell something? I smell a brewing lawsuit, don't you? The good news: so far now one has accused her of having sex with any of the kids . . . at least that anyone is sober enough to remember. Here's more from the Press Enterprise:

A Banning High School employee chaperoning a club field trip Friday was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public, police said Tuesday. Banning police arrested Beaumont resident Lisa Racquel Arellanes, 32, after school buses returned from a trip to San Diego.

Police received a call at 8:52 p.m. that a bus was returning to campus with a school employee and an unknown number of students who possibly were intoxicated, a police report shows. When the three buses arrived, police determined that Arellanes, who police said works in the school's attendance office, was intoxicated and arrested her. She was booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning, authorities said. In 2007, Arellanes pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher, records show.

Arellanes is on leave pending the results of the district's investigation, said Banning Unified School District Superintendent Lynne Kennedy. Fourteen students admitted drinking, but the source of the alcohol is unclear, police Lt. Mike West said. West said the alcohol involved was vodka and a margarita mix.
