Teacher Virginia Cammack, 35, Accused of Improper Relationship With Boy, 17 - Katy, Texas

The young man in this case claims he originally went to the apartment of teacher Virginia Cammack, 35, to download some music. Instead, it appears he was uploading some DNA samples to her . . . if you know what I mean (wink, wink, nudge, nudge.) According to the "victim" while at Cammack's apartment he went to move past her and somehow they ended up kissing. That, naturally, lead to the boy carrying her to the bed, where she told him that she "had a feeling for him that she could not explain" (horny, perhaps?) and they had sex.
The couple was caught after another parent saw the two embracing outside Cammack's apartment and sent an anonymous email to the principal.
Cammack has resigned her job at Morton Ranch High School in Katy, Texas where she has been a math teacher for three years. She's also been charged with improper relationship between a teacher and a student, was released on a $20,000 bond, and ordered not to have any contact with the boy.
At top right, Virginia Cammack's mug shot picture. Below, Ms. Cammack as she was leaving court after her appearance yesterday. Cleans up nice, doesn't she?

Man Wears 'World's Greatest Dad' Shirt to Meet What He Though Was a 14 Year Old For Sex

We aren't sure if this counts as a mugshot or not but it's pretty damn awesome either way. What better way to make a good impression on a what you think is a 14 year old than wearing a 'World's Greatest Dad' t-shirt to the meeting. Bonus! The W in world is for the WWE. Here's the scoop, courtesy of MSNBC on 33-year-old Daniel Allen Everett who allegedly went to meet a 14 year old for sex during an undercover police sting in Troy, Michigan. They grow 'em bright up there for sure.

A 33-year-old Michigan man is accused of wearing a "World's Greatest Dad" shirt to a meeting for sex with what he thought was a 14-year-old girl.

Daniel Allen Everett of Clarkston was arraigned Tuesday in Novi on charges of child sexual abuse and using the Internet to attempt child sexual abuse.

A jail official said it isn't known whether Everett has a lawyer. A spokesman for Attorney General Mike Cox could not confirm whether Everett has children. But Cox said in a statement that the arrest is a reminder that "a parent can pose a threat to our children."

Magistrate Andra Dudley set Everett's bond at $50,000.

Housemother at Teen Home Accused of Sex With Boy, Gets Pregnant by Him, He Runs Away - Carolynn Hatcher

Ta-da! This lady probably couldn't have screwed things up more if she tried. Here's the background: Carolynn Hatcher, 25 is a married, and was--until very recently--the group-home housemother at a place for troubled teens called the Mid-Western Children's Home. While she allegedly worked there she took up with a troubled 16-year-old boy and got pregnant by him. His response? To run away, of course. To make matters worse, because he's a foster child and also a victim of alleged sexual abuse, cops apparently can't release his name or picture so the public can help in the search for him! At right, Carolynn Hatcher's mug shot picture.
Here's more from Cincinnati.com:

A 25-year-old married teacher and group-home housemother had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy there - and became pregnant with the teen's child, authorities said Monday.

Now Carolynn Hatcher, who formerly lived with the teen in a group home, has been criminally charged and is in the midst of divorce proceedings.

Making matters worse: The teen has run away.

"It's heartbreaking and a tragedy all the way around," said Mike Fox, executive director of Butler County Children Services. "I promised to tell the truth, and this is one of those unbelievable, ugly truths that happen in the world of child welfare."

The boy's disappearance also creates an unusual dilemma for officials: They don't think they can enlist the public's help to find him.

That's because the teen falls under two classes that rightfully should shield his identity: He's both a foster child and an alleged sexual-abuse victim.

"Is it really in his interest to put his picture on the 6 o'clock news and tell people, 'If you see this kid, call us?' " Fox said. "Right now, the answer to that question is 'no.' "

Debra Lafave Update: Former Teacher Released From House Arrest, Begins Early Probation

You remember Debra Lafave don't you? The hot blonde teacher accused of having sex with a 14-year-old boy in the back of an SUV while his cousin drove? Well, she's been serving a three year sentence of house arrest, being only allowed outside to work and go to the grocery store. Well, Debbie musta been a good girl because the judge cut that house arrest six months short last Friday, and the cops deactivated the ankle bracelet she'd been forced to wear all that time and cut it off. We don't get to see Debra's smiling face as she left the court room, but the folks at Tampa Bay Online gave us this nice picture of her feet while still wearing the tether. Okay, who else finds that kinda sexy? In case you've forgotten what she looked like, read her full story here.
Here's more from their story:

Schoolteacher-turned-sex-offender Debra Lafave no longer will have to provide Florida Department of Corrections officials her daily schedule, and they no longer will keep minute-by-minute track of her whereabouts.
With Lafave having served more than 2 1/2 years of a three-year house-arrest sentence, a judge commuted the final five months to probation. She will remain on probation for seven years. Probation officials said Lafave arrived at the Plant City probation office at 8:20 a.m. Her probation officer deactivated the ankle bracelet and cut it off. She left at 8:40 a.m.
While on house arrest, Lafave was allowed to leave home for only a few reasons, including grocery shopping and work, DOC spokeswoman Gretl Plessinger said. Lafave had to write her schedule in advance and have it approved by a probation officer, Plessinger said.
Now, Lafave will have to meet with a probation officer regularly, and an officer will come to her home, but she will not have to present schedules for approval, Plessinger said. Because Lafave is a sex offender, she will be subject to a curfew for the remainder of her probation. She must be home by 10 p.m. and cannot leave before 6 a.m., Plessinger said.

Four Teachers From Same School Arrested for Sex With Students! - Helix High School

How many teacher sex scandals does it take to close a school? The answer in Southern California may be four in the last two years. All four incidents have happened at Helix High School which is a charter school. For those of you not familiar with charter schools, the are a cross between public and private schools, sometimes operated by religious groups, but using public money . . . just like public schools. Anyway, to get set up they have to get a "charter" from some oversight organization (usually a university) that helps set up their program. Most are pretty new, are small in size, have a lot of new, inexperienced teachers and staff . . . and sometimes it shows, like at Helix High School where four teachers have been arrested for having sex with students since 2006. Things are so bad, the local school board is thinking about pulling their charter and closing the school down. One plus in all of this: two of the teachers had sex with the same girl, so only three kids were involved, but four teachers. Okay, now that we think about it, that's not really a plus, just another odd twist in an already odd story.
Here's more from CBS 8:

Specifically, the Grossmont Board is demanding Helix's governing Board address the four cases of misconduct, training planned or already provided, changes to employee and student oversight and supervision to prevent inappropriate relationships between staff members and students.
"We are going to fulfill our oversight responsibilities and we are going to ensure that Helix High School is a safe place for kids," district vice president Dick Hoy said.
Four teachers have been accused of sex-related crimes involving students since late 2006. In December 2006, former music teacher Frank Palumbo was accused of having sex with a 17-year-old female student and was sentenced to five years probation.
Earlier this year, ex-band director Jessica Kahal got three years probation after pleading guilty to having unlawful sex with a 17-year-old male student.
In May, geography teacher Garry Wilcox was arrested on suspicion of having sex with a 17-year-old female student. He pleaded guilty and has a July 22 trial date.
Finally, business teacher Jeff Wenham resigned after being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with the same student allegedly involved with Wilcox. Wenham has not been arrested nor charged with any crime, and his case in being reviewed by the district attorney's office.

UPDATED: Missing Teacher Cara Dickey & Boy, 14, Found Separately But Questions Still Remain About "Improper Relationship"

UPDATE: Cops Say Hot Blonde Teacher Cara L. Dickey Had Suicide Pact With Eighth Grade Boy, Gave Him Alcohol and Over-the-Counter Drugs, Also Changed Her Hair Color - Well, that's not fair to any of us! How are we going to fairly judge how hot she is if she keeps changing her hair color? At right, a new picture of teacher Cara L. Dickey (with her husband) after she was released on bail last week. Below is an earlier picture of her as a blonde. No word as to why she made the change. Oh, and something about some new charges in the case: false inprisonment, giving the kid booze and pills and then having a suicide pact with him. We still don't understand quite what's going on here, but we're going to pull up a charge and grab some popcorn because this sounds like a good one. (Buffalo News)

EARLIER STORY: Teacher Cara Dickey was suspended earlier this week after the cell phone of a 14-year-old revealed what South Buffalo Charter School officials called "inappropriate messages" between the two. And the, almost immediately, both Dickey and the boy when missing. Eventually he was found at a mall and she asleep in her parked car, but police are still investigating the mother of three to see if anything illegal was going on between her and the boy. At right, the only picture we could find of Cara Dickey.
Here's more from the Buffalo News:

Nicholas G. DeJesus, a South Buffalo Charter School student from West Seneca, had been missing since he left the school on South Park Avenue without permission Monday afternoon.

Teacher Cara Dickey, 29, of Clarence had been escorted from the school after her suspension Monday morning.

School administrators had not heard from either until they were found this morning.

Nicholas was reunited with his family at a Buffalo Police station, while authorities said Dickey was in police custody. It is not clear whether she has been charged with any crime.

"I can't begin to express the excitement, the relief that this student has been found, and that this student is safe," said Cederick Ellis, director of the South Buffalo Charter School.

Ellis provided few details about Dickey's suspension or any possible relationship between the student and teacher.

"What we do know is that the student and the teacher were found separately," Ellis told reporters in a short briefing outside the school. "We have no idea about them being together."
