Female Drama Teacher, 35, Accused of Sex With Boy, 17 - Lisa Glide, Old Bridge High School

Looks like new things are going on at the Old Bridge High School in New Jersey, the latest school to be hit by a cougar attack! And we don't mean by the furry kind. This one is a 35-year-old drama teacher who should have known better. At right, the only picture we could find of Lisa Glide from the 2007 Old Bridge High School year book. Here's more from NJ.com:

An Old Bridge High School drama teacher was arrested today on charges she had a sexual relationship with a male student that started in February, authorities said. Lisa Glide, 35, of Howell Township, Monmouth County, faces a second-degree charges of sexual assault and child endangerment, Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce Kaplan said in a statement issued today.

The prosecutor's office began an investigation into Glide on Nov. 25 after receiving information about the sexual relationship, Kaplan said. Investigators determined Glide began having a sex with the boy in February, when he was still a student at the school, Kaplan said. The 17-year-old graduated in June, school authorities said.

Man Arrested for Assaulting Girlfriend With McDonald's Cheeseburger: No Word on Damaged Fries, Coke

We're pretty sure it wasn't part of any Happy Meal. According to police, Vincent Gonzalez, 22, of Vero Beach, Florida wasted a perfectly good cheeseburger this week during an argument with his girlfriend. Gonzalez and the unidentified woman were reportedly fighting in a car when he would not let her leave. At that point she threw Gonzalez's drink out of the car (likely a large Coke with no ice), and he grabber her arm and forced the cheeseburger into her face, according to the police report. Their discussion of proper fast food eating techniques was apparently over, as both of them stepped out of the car and Gonzalez once again smashed the cheeseburger into the woman's face.
Gonzalez has been charged battery domestic violence and unlawful destruction of a delicious 100% all beef patty smothered in glorious cheese on a toasted bun. (Okay, we made that last part up, but it should be a crime, right?) At right, the alleged weapon, being held in the Vero Beach jail fridge for later questioning . . . or eating. (TCPalm.com)

Father of the Year Finalist Has Boy, 9, Drive Him on Beer Run

Too drunk to go buy more beer? No problem! Just have your kid do it! What' he's only 9? Hey, he's gotta learn to drive sometime, right? Now is as good a time as any and you're thirsty.

We assume that's the thought process of one Florida dad who is accused of making his young son drive the family pick-up to buy booze for good ol' dad. Here's more from CBS News:
Authorities in southwest Florida say an intoxicated man had his 9-year-old son take him on a beer run. Cape Coral police arrested the 27-year-old man last week, after seeing a pickup truck drive onto a median.

When officers stopped the truck, the man told them he was teaching his son to drive. Officers say the father's speech was slurred, his breath smelled of alcohol and he unable to stand without swaying. Police said an open case of Budweiser beer was in the backseat.

The man was charged with cruelty toward a child and allowing an unlicensed minor to drive.

Teacher Anna Huck Davis Arrested for Sex With Boy, 15 - Started Dating His Dad!

Female teachers: want to hook up with underage boys? Why not start by dating their fathers?

That's allegedly what happened down in Louisiana where Anna Huck Davis, a special needs teacher at Benton High School, allegedly started dating a divorced man. Shortly thereafter, the dad found out about the affair that Davis, the divorced mother of four, has allegedly admitted to. According to cops, the two engaged in sex at least 10 times over the past several months and the affair came to light when Davis told the teen's father.

After Davis was arrested, she reportedly admitted to Bossier Parish Sheriff's Deputies that she had sex with the teen, telling officer Ed Baswell, "I'm in love with him, and I want to marry him". Says Baswell of that admission, "I don't know if she understood exactly what she was doing."

Teens Set Up Own Internet Sting, Catch Male Teacher Hitting on Underage Girls - Scott Dietlin

And he would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for those stupid, meddling kids!

Scott Dietlin, a teacher at Casa Grande High School in California, thought he was exchanging messages with an underage girl online, when in fact it was two teen aged boys who had created the fake MySpace page. When Dietlin's messages allegedly appeared inappropriate, the young Hardy Boys turned their evidence over to Burlingame police, who then also posed as a teenage girl (must be pretty easy, everyone seems to be doing it) and began communicating with Dietlin, who then arranged for the "girl" to meet him to have a possible sexual encounter. Instead--you guessed it!--the 34-year-old history and economics teacher was arrested on several felony charges for allegedly making arrangements to have sex with a minor.

For their efforts, the boys were given a hardy pat on the back and a date with Nancy Drew (the hot TV one, not Julia Roberts niece). Here's more on the story from the Press Democrat:

Scott Dietlin was arrested by Burlingame detectives at 9:45 a.m. after a week-long investigation stemming from a correspondence he had with two Burlingame teenagers on myspace.com. The teens posted a photograph and profile of another young woman on myspace.com as if they actually were being posted by her, and Dietlin then started engaging in e-mails with them.

The teens, feeling that Dietlin’s e-mails were inappropriate, contacted Burlingame police, who began investigating the situation. A Burlingame detective, posing as a teenage girl, then began communicating with Dietlin, and arranged a time and place in San Mateo to meet him to have a possible sexual encounter.

When he arrived at the location, they arrested Dietlin on charges of sending harmful matter with the intent to seduce a minor, attempting to contact a minor with the intent to commit a sexual offense and arranging to meet with a minor with intent to commit a sexual offense. He was booked into Sonoma County Jail, where he remained in custody on $550,00 bail.

After his arrest, Burlingame police obtained a warrant to search his vehicle and home in Petaluma. They reportedly found condoms, as well as a computer and cell phone police believe he used during the communications.

Florida Becomes Ground Zero for Student/Teacher Sex Scandals

Does it seem like it to anyone else that the State of Florida has more than its share of female teacher sex scandals? Well, according to this report in the Orlando Sentinel, we were not imagining things as more than 150 teachers in the Sunshine State have been arrested in the past three years! Here's more from this outstanding article:

At least 150 Florida teachers have been disciplined in the past three years after being accused of sexual misconduct with students, an Orlando Sentinel review has found.

Some of the most severe cases resulted in arrests and criminal convictions for offenses such as secretly watching a boy change and shower, tricking elementary-school girls into touching a man's genitals and having sex with minor students. But the Sentinel's case-by-case review of teacher-discipline records from the Florida Department of Education found that a lot of the alleged misconduct did not rise to the criminal level.

Still, parents would be alarmed.

Among those cases are a former Apopka High teacher accused of flashing a teenage student with whom she was having an affair; a Port Orange teacher who sent text messages to a boy, calling him "cutie" and "sexie"; a ninth-grade teacher in Tampa who asked a student about the color of her nipples; and an Orlando coach accused of using e-mail and instant messages to tell a 13-year-old girl he loved her and wanted their relationship to grow beyond friendship.

Those 150 cases don't include the dozens of educators who have been suspended or lost their teaching certificates since 2006 for molesting nonstudents, downloading porn at school, having sex in public and trying to pick up prostitutes. Many of the cases occurred in the South Florida and Tampa Bay areas. In Central Florida, 34 teachers were disciplined in the three-year period, including 12 from Orange County, 11 from Volusia, four from Polk, three from Seminole, three from Brevard and one in Lake.

Scholars, mental-health experts, police and others aren't sure whether more teachers these days are committing such acts. Little research has been done on the issue. They say it's likely students are simply reporting bad behavior more often. One trend is certain, however: The number of disciplinary cases involving sexual misdeeds is rising in Florida -- among female educators in particular.

Boy, 13, Arrested for Repeatedly Passing Gas in Class - Spectrum Junior-Senior High School

Who had November 2008 in the pool? You know, the one where we guessed when the first stupid high school boy was arrested for INTENTIONALLY farting in class? If you had this month, then you're a winner . . . and certainly more fortunate than this punk's classmates at Spectrum Junior-Senior High School in Stuart, Florida. You would think there'd be something in the school "Code of Honor" about breaking wind, cutting the cheese, or just plain farting in class . . . but apparently not, and now the cops are involved. Thanks a lot for all the bean burrito lunches Mom! Now I'm going to jail!
The best part of the story: the police say they have a confession from the kid! What no CSI-type evidence search of the classroom? I'm somewhat disappointed.
Here's more from WPBF (fortunately, there is no video or audio with this story):
A 13-year-old boy from Stuart was arrested after teachers said he was repeatedly passing gas during class. Police said the Spectrum Junior-Senior High School student continually disrupted his class by intentionally passing gas. He then shut off some computers other students were using, police said. A school resource officer placed the boy under arrest after police said he confessed. He's charged with disruption of a school function and was released to his mother.

Teacher Carole Leigh Mayers, 41, Arrested for Sex With Underage Boy - Salisbury Christian School

Today's female teacher/cougar caught having sex with an underage boy comes to us from Salisbury Christian School in Maryland. Carole Leigh Mayers, 41, faces five counts of third-degree sex offense, five counts of fourth-degree sex offense, five counts of child abuse and one count of perverted practice. According to the cops, the former music teacher is accused of "inappropriate activity" with a former student.
We haven't been able to find a good definition of what exactly a "perverted practice" is but what little we did find online makes us think this is something more than uh, "natural" sex acts. (If you have suggestions as what this might be, post a comment below.) Which makes us think the cops got a lot more detail about what this lady was doing with her alleged young stud than we're hearing. Maybe the nasty details will come out during her trial. (WMDT)

Teacher Victoria Chacon Accused of Sending Naked Pictures of Herself to Boy, 14 - Sunday School

First, the kids were sending naked pictures of themselves to each other. Now, the teachers seem to want to get into the act! According to police, Victoria Chacon, a math teacher at Somerset Junior High School in San Antonino, not only sent naked photos of herself to an underage student (she allegedly met him at church, when she taught Sunday School!) along with some love letters, professing her love. As often happens in these cases, the boys mother found the love letters and called police. To top things off, the father also found a cell phone they had not provided him and the screen saver pic was of Chacon . . . topless. Here's more from WOAI:
The arrest affidavit states the mother of the 14-year-old boy told police she found two love letters from Chacon to her son. The affidavit also says that in those letters, "Chacon professes her love for the teen about how passionate he is, and about how she feels when she and the teen kiss each other."

Somerset Independent School District took action after learning of the allegations.

"When the allegations first surfaced, and the district was investigating, we immediately placed her on administrative leave," explained Maury Vasquez of Somerset ISD.

Soon after that, Chacon resigned from her teaching position.

While police continued their investigation, another development surfaced. According to the arrest affidavit, the teen's father found a cell phone they hadn't bought for their son. The affidavit states that "the screen saver on the phone was a photo of Chacon topless" and "at least one other photo stored on the telephone of Chacon exposing her breasts."

Former NFL Cheerleader & Bachelor "Winner" Arrested for Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest, Breaking Cop Car Radio - Mary Delgado

Mary Delgado, who used to shake her pom-poms for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has been arrested . . . again! Last year Delgado, who received a marriage proposal in 2004 on the TV show "The Bachelor" from pro fisherman Byron "What Was I Thinking?" Velvick, was arrested for hitting her fiancé. Now comes word that Mary was at a bar this weekend in Texas called Lorina's Cantina when she refused to leave. When police showed up, they arrested Delgado for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. But the fun doesn't end there: Mary earned an extra charge of resisting arrest, after she reportedly screamed at officers in the squad car and also kicked the car radio. What, they didn't taser her? Oh well, at least we have a hot mug shot photo to stare at today. (E! Online)

Cop Suspened for Tasering Inmate to Wake Him Up - Deputy Michael Kenefic,

You'd think that Deputy Michael Kenefic, of the Pinellas County detention center, would get style points, at least, for his creative way of waking up a sleeping inmate. Not sure if I was the inmate I would appreciate that (I'm more of a natural sunrise kinda guy) but sometimes you have to use the tools that are given you, right? But note: even the tasering didn't wake this drunk up! Here's more from the St. Petersburg Times:

Apparently you're not allowed to use a stun gun as an alarm clock — even in jail. That's what one Pinellas County detention deputy was reminded of after a July incident where he tried to wake up an inmate by crackling a Taser stun gun near the inmate's head. Deputy Michael Kenefic, 32, received a 15-day suspension for the events the morning of July 27.

According to an internal affairs report, Kenefic was having trouble with inmate, Robert McAllister, who had been waiting a long time in the intake section of the jail. McAllister, 54, was facing DUI crash and drug charges. At one point during the night, McAllister went to sleep on the floor in the seating area. Kenefic came over and told him he was required to stay in his seat.

At 7 a.m., Kenefic noticed that McAllister was sleeping on the ground again, according to the internal affairs report. That's when Kenefic decided to try something different. He mentioned to a deputy nearby that he bet he could wake up the inmate with the sound of the stun gun cycling through. Another deputy remembers Kenefic saying, "Watch this."

Kenefic, a three-year veteran of the agency, took out his Taser, removed the prongs, and walked across the floor to where McAllister was sleeping. He bent down and let the Taser crackle for a few seconds. Amazingly, it did not wake up the inmate.

Texas Judge Arrested on Drunk Driving Charges

A Texas district judge--who precided over an important trial this summer involving the drunk driving killing of a Fort Worth police officer--has herself been arrested for driving under the influence. Here's more from Fox News:
State District Judge Elizabeth Berry was booked into the Johnson County Jail on Saturday afternoon on a probable cause warrant by Alvarado police after being arrested in Interstate 35W south of Fort Worth, said sheriff's Lt. Tim Jones. She was booked and then released on a personal recognizance bond, he said.

In a statement released through her attorney Mark Daniel, Berry said it was premature to discuss the allegations. "There are a number of factual and legal issues before I can make any statement," she said. "In the meantime, it's my duty to preside over my court in an efficient manner and this matter will have no effect on my decisions."

Daniel said it is too soon to discuss specifics, including why police stopped Berry and whether her blood-alcohol level was tested, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported in Tuesday editions. "Judge Berry is a very highly respected judge," he said. "We are presently doing our own work and investigation. It is my belief that when all the dust settles this will likely be unfounded." The Johnson County Attorney's Office, which prosecutes misdemeanor drunken-driving cases, probably will not get the case for two weeks, a representative said.

This summer Berry presided over the trial of Samuel Lee Hilburn, who was convicted of intoxication manslaughter and sentenced to 13 years in prison for the 2006 death of Fort Worth police Officer Dwayne Freeto.
