Boy, 15, Claims He Had Sex With Female Teacher, 37, More Than 40 Times, Once in Kmart Parking Lot

A 15-year-old boy has told authorities he had sexual relations with an Edgewood Middle School teacher 40 to 50 times when he was 14. Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office released the arrest warrant affidavits Saturday in relation to its charges against Edgewood teacher Angela “Angel” Simmons Lindle, 37, of Donalds, on seven counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

According to the warrant affidavits, filed by GCSO investigator Wayne Findley, the victim, a former student of Lindle’s, told deputies he had a sexual relationship with Lindle between August 2008 and Feb. 17, 2009. The affidavit said the boy reported 40 to 50 instances in which he engaged in such conduct with Lindle in Greenwood and McCormick counties. The affidavits said three incidents occurred on Warner Road in Greenwood, two occurred at Economy Inn at 1215 Bypass 72 NE, one occurred at Lindle’s Donalds home and one sexual act occurred in the Kmart parking lot.
