Drunk Man Arrested With Shirt Wrapped Around Boat Propeller
From the way this story reads, this guy is lucky he's only in jail and not dead or severely maimed. When sheriff's deputies approached his boat, they found him underwater with his T-shirt caught in the boat's propeller!
A 44-year-old Connecticut man was arrested for drunken boating on the Grand River (Michigan) after sheriff's deputies said he got his T-shirt caught in the boat's propeller, police said. Ottawa County sheriff's deputies responded to a report that a man had been thrown from his boat near Indian Channel. They found an empty boat and the man submerged behind the craft, fighting to breathe.Anyone else surprised that alcohol was involved?
When police pulled him out of the water, they found his T-shirt wrapped around the boat's outboard motor propeller, which had killed the motor, but also secured the man to it, deputies said. Police said the man refused medical treatment.
