Video: EMT Could Face Charges for Scuffle With State Trooper

This one poses an important question: if an ambulance and a police car both have their sirens on but are going to different locations, who has to pull over? A cell phone video from the man who's mother was being taken to the hospital in the ambulance shows the confrontation between cops and EMTs. (Watch video of the incident below.)

A paramedic could face charges after a scuffle with a state trooper that was caught on cell phone camera. It happened Sunday near Paden in Okfuskee County. That's about 70 miles southwest of Tulsa. Kenyada Davis' mother was being transported in the ambulance and recorded the incident on his cell phone camera. paramedic could face charges after a scuffle with a state trooper that was caught on cell phone camera.

Will EMT Law Protect Paramedics?

  1. Well, it's obvious that whatever call the cops were answering wasn't all that critical, because they had plenty of time to diddle around with the ambulance and the EMTs. Cops suck.

  2. I would like to know under what circumstances Anyone has the right to manhandle or treat another US citizen this way. The EMT is also a member of the to serve and trust crowd in our country and from what I could see there are at least 2 troopers that assalted that man and should have been arrested on the spot. A little professional curtousy should have been extended. I wonder how the police would have felt if it was one of their Children, Wives, Mothers, or someone else that the EMT was trying to help?

  3. I would like to get a follow up story on this. How would law enforcement feel if it were one of there own that need medical attention. Also, the patient in the back was clearly upset by all the commotion. I wonder what is going to happen to these troopers? This is what gives you a bad name.
