From the way this story reads, this guy is lucky he's only in jail and not dead or severely maimed. When sheriff's deputies approached his boat, they found him underwater with his T-shirt caught in the boat's propeller!

A 44-year-old Connecticut man was arrested for drunken boating on the Grand River (Michigan) after sheriff's deputies said he got his T-shirt caught in the boat's propeller, police said. Ottawa County sheriff's deputies responded to a report that a man had been thrown from his boat near Indian Channel. They found an empty boat and the man submerged behind the craft, fighting to breathe.

When police pulled him out of the water, they found his T-shirt wrapped around the boat's outboard motor propeller, which had killed the motor, but also secured the man to it, deputies said. Police said the man refused medical treatment.

Female Teacher, 38, Caught in Van With Boy, 16 - Jennifer Espinosa

Yet another married, mother of two, middle-aged teacher is caught with an underage boy. That part's not news. What is news is that the boy in question is also--according to police--a gang member and had been expelled from school. And the fact that the cops found the boy with Jennifer Espinosa, 38, after following her Honda Pilot and noticing the smell of marijuana coming from it. When the pulled it over they found Espinosa, the boy and a 22-year-old man that they also suspect of being a gang member. Oh, and a bunch of weed.

At that point Espinosa did the right thing and refused to answer any further questions. No, just kidding: she sang like a bird to officers and admitted having sex numerous times with the underage boy in both her Pilot and at her home. Yeah, someone's going to prison for a long time. Espinosa told police she “loves” the 16-year-old boy, who was expelled from Maine East in September and is a known Sureno 13 gang member, the release said. Espinosa was taken in for questioning by Sheriff’s police on Saturday night near the Golf Terrace Apartments, on the 9600 block of North Golf Terrace, after police smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from behind Espinosa’s 2009 Honda Pilot, the release said.

As police curbed the car and noticed the windows were rolled down, they noticed one person moving quickly to a back seat. All people in the car were ordered out and Espinosa immediately told police she was a Maine East teacher, the release said.

Officer recognized the 16-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man as known gang members. Police searched the car and recovered a bag of suspected marijuana. Alejandro Landi, 22, of Niles, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession.

Upon questioning of the suspects in the vehicle, Espinosa told investigators she was a teacher and mentor to the boy unti he was expelled. She said their relationship began after his expulsion, the release said. Police said they told them they have had sex numerous times, in her Park Ridge home and in her car at various locations around the high school.

Cops Say Female Teacher Used Facebook to Lure Boys for Sex in Her Minivan - Heather L. Zeo

Some older teachers are afraid of technology.

Not, apparently, Heather L. Zeo, a teacher at North Penn High School in Lansdale, PA. According to police, Zeo contacted at least two underage male students via their Facebook accounts and was able to coerce one of them into a sexual relationship.

The 37-year-old Warrington mother of three was arraigned in Lansdale district court on charges of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors. She posted bail of $25,000 and was scheduled for a hearing on June 3.

Police said the 11th and 12th grade teacher used Facebook to contact the students, one earlier in the school year and one in April. The more recent one said that after he got a "friend request" from Zeo, they kissed and touched during her prep period in her classroom six or seven times, according to police. They progressed to having sex in her minivan in a Montgomery County shopping center, according to the police complaint.
The couple continued having sex at various locations in the township and at school up until the middle of May, said Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman.

Earlier in the year, police said, Zeo contacted the other teen through Facebook and told him that she would have sex with him if they were alone together and invited him to her classroom, but he never went. He told authorities they had five or sex sexually explicit conversations.

Man Sets Toilet Paper on Fire, Smears Own Feces on Police Station Bathroom Walls

It all started as a simple request for a guy to pay his bar tab. It ended with him setting some toilet paper on fire in a police station bathroom, taking a crap on the floor and them smearing his own feces on the walls. How does someone get from Point A to Point B? Here's the story from Philly.com:

Shortly before 3 a.m. yesterday, the pub in the Camden County township's Blenheim section contacted police about an unpaid bill. Jason Detora, the patron, said his girlfriend was on the way to settle the tab. When Nicole Leadbeater arrived, officers spoke with her - and arrested her for appearing to be under the influence.

She was taken to police headquarters, and so was Detora, "as a courtesy ... to wait for a ride," according to the police news release. The details of what happened next are probably best left to the police statement:

"While waiting in the hallway of Police Hqs Mr Detora entered the bathroom, when he came out of the bathroom Ptl. Thomas Wynne noticed an odor emanating from the hallway. Ptl. Wynne checked the bathroom and found toilet paper along with paper towels were piled up and lit on fire. Ptl. Wynne also found Mr. Detora had defecated on the floor then drew on the walls of the bathroom with feces. Mr Detora was immediately taken into custody."

Detora, 24, was charged with arson and criminal mischief while Leadbeater, 22, was charged with driving while intoxicated.

According to police, any reasonable person would look at this girl and realize that she's a 14-year-old seventh grader . . . but apparently not Jeffery Shawn Martinez, 34, the manager of an adult nightclub in Corpus Christi, TX. Officers say the girl approached them and told them that she had been kidnapped from San Antonio and had somehow escaped the person who abducted her. During her captivity, she allegedly was hired to work as a stripper at the club.

Martinez was charged with sexual performance of a child and employment harmful to a minor, while Leslie Campbell, 48, (the man apparently accused of kidnapping the girl) was being held on suspicion of aggravated sexual assault and aggravated kidnapping.

The cops pull up to a parked car, find two small children in the back (aged 1 and 3) and their mother in the front seat with her pants down with a strange man with her. She says she spilled beer on her pants and was just trying to clean them off, the cops say she was having sex in front of her kids. Either way, is this someone who should make the finals of our Dumbass Daily Mother of the Year?

Authorities said they found 24-year-old Danica Wallace engaged in sexual activity with a man in the front seat. Wallace was charged with two counts of endangering children and public indecency.

She reportedly told police she pulled over to have sex because they could not have sex at a friend’s house. Wallace told a different story in court and pleaded not guilty Monday.

“I had spilled beer on my pants, and when I went to change my pants, the police pulled up and said I was engaged in sex in the seat,” Wallace said in court. “I was not engaged in any sex while my kids were in the backseat.”

Not sure why the Missouri State Highway Patrol is involved in a female teacher sex scandal, but at this point I think the schools need all the help they can get!

According to police, a 16-year-old boy told them he started texting music teacher Alison Peck back in December of 2008 and that eventually lead to them having a sexual relationship. He claims the pair had sex at a park in Dade County and eventually he "visited" Peck at her home on several occasions where they had sexual relations. The MSHP detective says Peck "basically confirmed the boy’s account" for them and was charged with statutory sodomy and statutory rape.

Before she resigned this week, Peck was a a first-year teacher at Greenfield High School after just graduating from Drury University last year. Don't mess with a pregnant woman! If she says you choked her 5-year-old in class, you'd better admit it and then hope you can outrun her.

Gabriela Dominguez Ugarte said that her 5-year-old son, Vincent Anthony Ugarte, told her last week that his teacher, David M. Svetlecic, had choked him. Ugarte went to the East Austin school to file a complaint against Svetlecic at 8 a.m. on Friday, and Principal Freda C. Mills met with Ugarte and Svetlecic in her office, according to the affidavit. Svetlecic denied choking Ugarte’s son several times, the affidavit said. (Svetlecic could not be immediately reached today by phone for comment.)

“Suddenly, without provocation, Svetlecic says Ugarte punched him in the left side of his head with a closed right fist one time,” the affidavit said. The attack left Svetlecic with several scratches to his left ear and redness on the left side of his neck. Ugarte, who is two months pregnant, was charged with assault of a public servant, a felony. She was released from jail on bond.

Reached by phone this afternoon, Ugarte said that she had lost her job as a caregiver when news of the incident spread. She said Svetlecic denied choking her son but admitted to shaking him. She said hitting Svetlecic at that point was a “mother’s instinct.” “All of this could have been prevented if the principal had done something,” Ugarte said. “This guy choked my son. My baby could have died.”

It used to be that parents would have to warn their kids about going to school and becoming part of a gang. Now, it looks like the schools will have to warn their kids about their parents getting them into gangs.

A Califorina man was arrested on charges of suspicion of child abuse, mayhem, battery with gang enhancements, false imprisonment, participating in criminal street gang activity and committing a crime for the benefit of a gang, after the found him, his girlfriend and the man's 7-year-old son at a motel. The man, Enrique Gonzalez, 26, and a friend allegedly held the boy down and put a paw print (Awww!) tatoo on his right hip as part of some weird gang thing. The boy's mother (who Gonzalez is not currently married to) was not happy with that and called cops.

Investigators saw Ramirez leaving the room and asked her whether Gonzalez was inside. She confirmed he was there. Following a brief escape attempt through a rear window of the room, Gonzalez surrendered.

After his arrest, police discovered a photograph of Gonzalez, his son and a third child. The two children had gang graffiti on their bodies, police said.

Police first learned of the incident three weeks ago when, they said, Gonzalez held down his son while another gang member tattooed a gang insignia -- a dog paw -- on the boy's right hip.

The man alleged to have tattooed the boy, Travis Dewayne Gorman, 20, of Fresno, was arrested April 21. His bail is listed as $700,000, according to Fresno County Jail records. Gorman is not a licensed tattoo artist but does tattoos for Bulldog gang members. It is illegal in California for a child younger than 18 to get a tattoo, officials said.

College Students Set Off Smoke Alarms, Tie Emergency Doors Shut as Part of "Prank"

How stupid are college students these days, anyway? What makes you think ANYONE would think it was funny that you purposely tied the fire exit doors shut and then overcooked microwave popcorn so it smoked and made people in your dorm think there was a fire? Especially at 3 o'clock in the morning!

Three Connecticut college athletes were arrested for allegedly setting off a smoke alarm after they tied shut the doors of several dorm rooms, police told The Herald newspaper.

Christopher Scifo, Matthew Dortch and Patrick Robinson were charged with reckless endangerment, burning and mischief, among other offenses for what they said was a prank pulled at Central Connecticut State University. When campus police at the school responded to an early-morning fire alarm, they found a "quad" of dorm rooms full of smoke and two full bags of charred popcorn in a microwave, according to The Herald of New Britain, Conn.

The incident happened at 3:14 a.m. Monday on the third floor of the Vance Hall dorm. A resident assistant there told firefighters that two doors on the fifth floor were tied shut with heavy fishing line. Several other doors on the fourth floor were also bound. Residents were forced to struggle through a small opening in the doors to get out, police told The Herald. “I didn’t intend to hurt anyone, just get a few laughs,” Scifo, 19, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., told police.

Yeah, well let's see if you find it funny when you're bunking with Bubba in jail and he decides you look a lot like his ex-girlfriend. He probably just wants a few laughs, too.

A Madras science teacher has bailed out of jail and is on paid administrative leave after police say he's the man seen on surveillance tape, tossing live bullets down the halls of Jefferson County Middle School.

Timothy Wojtusik, 47, has taught science to seventh- and eighth-graders at the middle school for 11 years. School officials say they were shocked to hear he's been charged with menacing and disorderly conduct after staff was finding strange things in the hallways last week.

Last Wednesday morning, around 8 a.m., staff and a student walking the halls at the middle school came upon what police are only describing as "several" .22-caliber live bullets strewn on the floor. Madras police detectives immediately went to the school's surveillance tape and, they say, clearly found their man. "The surveillance video is really clear," said Det. Tanner Stanfill. "It shows him walking down the hallway, tossing bullets on the floor."

Married Michigan Mayor Caught Having Sex on Sidewalk With Another Woman

A Republican Commissioner and Novi, Michigan Mayor pro tem Kim Capello claims it was all innocent and that he was just walking a woman home from a bar . . . at 2 am . . . when things got a little frisky. In itself, not problem if you can find a room. Pretty soon though, cops responded to a report of indecent exposure and eventually found an unclothed man (allegedly Capello) and woman--not his wife--having what passed for drunken sex against a wall. When confronted by officers, the couple admitted they had been drinking . . . which might explain the public sex.

In addition to his public service, Capello is also a practicing attorney and shares an office (or maybe "shared an office") with his wife of 21 years. Capello was arraigned on an indecent exposure charge, which could result in 93 days in jail.

Mom Calls Cops When 12-Year-Old Won't Do Chores

Not a lot to this story, just a couple of lines from the police blotter in the Sun News:

DISPUTE: A mother phoned police because she was having trouble getting her 12-year-old son to do his chores. The two got into an argument and that's when she phoned police. She said she didn't know how to handle the situation. Police gave her options for obtaining assistance with family problems.

I saw this at the very bottom of a long list of other stupid police calls (including a rock thrown through the window of a house by a child who used to live in the how who was pissed about having to move) and it made me thing: What kind of mom calls the cops when her kid won't do his chores? Maybe if he had refused to do the chores and punched her in the face, maybe, but just because he wouldn't do them? Sounds more like a call to Dr. Laura or Dr. Phil, but the cops? The best part is the cops didn't laugh this off but instead gave her information about getting some help elsewhere. Gotta give the police some props for that.

Blah, blah, blah. Anyone who's been to this site before knows the routine. Married female teacher with two small kids gives our her cell phone number to an underage boy. He texts her, she texts him and then things get naughtier. Naughty MySpace messages ensure and then they meet up at school. But that's where this story swerves from the usual: instead of heading to her house or his parent's basement, this duo--allegedly--went to a janitor's closet at school and started making out. (How romantic! Watch out for the bucket of vomit covering sawdust, honey!) According to cops, that's exactly what teacher Stephanie Jo Walters, who formerly taught at Musselman Middle School , is accused of doing.

The police report says the "victim" told them that Walters allegedly approached him during lunch and they went to a janitor’s closet where they kissed and she allowed him to touch her breasts, but not beneath her shirt. She probably would have gotten away with it, except for the fact that when she got out of the car at the CVS pharmacy, beer cans fell out of the car. The good news? The kid wasn't hers, just a relative.

The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office charged Leana Luvean Riddley, 49, of second-degree refusal to submit to chemical testing and third-degree driving while under in the influence for the May 1 incident. According to the criminal complaint, witnesses say they saw Riddley get out of her car at a CVS Pharmacy at 3655 Central Ave. NE. with a baby. As she opened the door, beer cans fell out and police were notified.

Police say Riddley admitted to drinking and driving. The child, who is Riddley’s niece, was unharmed.

Prom Night Drunk Driver is Actually Limo Driver

Hey kids! Here's a tip from your Uncle Bob: if you insist on drinking when you go to your high school prom (and we don't recommend that you do) at least have the brains to hire a limo driver so you won't get . . . wait a minute, you DID hire a limo driver and now HE'S been arrested for DUI? The only option you have at that point is to have your parents drive you.

A limousine company has fired the driver who was arrested Friday night in Lowell for allegedly drunk driving while ferrying local high school students around on their prom night. Lynette's Limousine Company said yesterday it had dismissed Brian Harrison, 45, of Tewksbury, who had worked for the company for three years, and had no previous problems.

The company said it is deeply shocked, troubled, and embarrassed by the exercise of poor judgment by Harrison. He was arrested after one of seven students from Lowell Catholic High School called her parents to report that Harrison seemed intoxicated when he came to pick them up at a movie theater Friday evening.

The students’ parents took them home.

Okay, so maybe you don't have all the perks of the British Royal Family, but at least you don't have drunks having sex on your lawn . . . or do you? Here's more from WFIE:

A man and woman have a lot of explaining to do after being arrested Sunday afternoon outside Britain's Windsor castle. It wasn't for trying to breach security but for being a bit too playful.

Queen Elizabeth II was at the castle, the sentries were on duty, and the large park surrounding the magnificent building was full of tourists. So it didn't take long for people to realize that something was quite unusual.

Witnesses said an inebriated couple arrived from a nearby restaurant and began having sex on a grass bank outside the castle. One witness told the Sun newspaper they didn't care who was looking and "just kept going as if they were in their own bedroom." Japanese tourists even filmed the couple.

Police said the two were arrested and given a written warning about outraging public decency.
