Former Michigan teacher Marcie L. Rousseau has gained national fame for allegedly having a two year relationship with a male student starting when he was sixteen. According to some reports the pair "got it on" more than 100 times. But now comes word that another student may have had his application to the National Honor Society sidetracked by Rousseau because she thought he knew of her affair. Not exactly the best example of bribing a kid we've ever heard of, but then again we don't have our teaching certificates, so what do we know? Here's more on the story from MLive.com:
Saginaw County Prosecutor Michael D. Thomas said authorities aren’t done investigating a former Freeland High School teacher charged with 29 sex crimes against a male student. Marcie L. “There’s only one (alleged victim) right now, but the investigation is ongoing, and I can’t really talk about the facts of the case,” Thomas said. “We’re still talking with witnesses, and we’ll continue to do that. We’ll call other students to testify at (Rousseau’s) preliminary examination.”
The teacher is accused of engaging in sex acts with the student from May 2009 through February. The student was between 16 and 18 at the time, Midland County District Court documents show.
“This particular defendant has been charged with violating the law because she engaged in these acts with a 16-year-old boy, and later he turned 17, but if you’re 18, this particular law doesn’t apply in those circumstances,” Thomas said. “That’s something I’m going to look at, with our legislative branch of state government, to try to close that loophole.” Rousseau, meanwhile, “seems very remorseful” about the accusations, said Bruce A. Goetz, a bail-bond agency worker representing her.

What's worse than having your mom arrested for stealing purses from other women at the store? Having to sit in the back seat while she tries to elude the cops during a high speed chase.
A word to all you horny female teachers who want to get it on with your studly male students in a parked car on a deserted highway at night: try not to drive your SUV into an area that the cops already have staked out. They will likely be able to watch you having sex--even at night--while wearing their night vision goggles! At that point, after they've been watching for a "reasonable period of time," they will likely arrest you.
Why, that's the oldest scam in the books, isn't it? Get caught on camera at Sears (Sears, does anyone even shop there anymore much less shoplift?) and then tell the cops you are a "freelance reporter" and that you're working on some kind of story? Wow, that takes some guts to even get those words out. The lady who tried to pull this off is actually a traffic reporter in Hartford, CT. Apparently the station where she works doesn't pay very well.
You can just see this guy's wife right now, can't you? Yelling at him for ruining a perfectly good evening of drinking, stealing, and pushing the kids around in their strollers by bringing along his bayonet. Couldn't leave it at home for 10 minutes, could you dumbass? And now, everything's ruined because of you!
