This is a tough one: what's creepier, the fact that these two were in the same bathroom at a sports bar in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame? Or that, after being caught in the act these siblings tried to claim they were actually having sex?
And, what if they were having sex and someone walked in and they tried to cover it up by making it look like they were stealing a TV?
Our guess is that things will be kind of quiet around the Larrivee family table this Thanksgiving.
Siblings Robert Larrivee, of West Springfield, and Amanda Larrivee, of Deerfield Beach, Fl., were arrested Sunday after allegedly attempting to steal two televisions from bathrooms at Samuel's Sports Bar at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, police said. Sgt. John Delaney, executive aide to Commissioner William J. Fitchet, said police responded to the scene at 9 p.m. Sunday after a woman who was using the restroom at the bar heard a male and female ripping a television off the wall. Delaney said the woman ran out of the bathroom when the two weren't looking. "The witness quickly told the manager what happened and the manager and another employee locked the door to the ladies room so the pair could not escape and police were called to the scene," he said. Arriving officers opened the door and confronted the two subjects. The pair claimed to be having sex in the bathroom. After further investigation, officers determined an attempt had also been made to steal the men's room television. Robert Larrivee, 38, of 84 Nelson Ave., is charged with larceny over $250. A charge of threatening to commit a crime was added after he threatened to beat up an arresting officer, Delaney said.
